>at a really good point of my life
>a lot of long time stress sources are gone
>long-time loneliness gone, have great, loving gf
>sleep like 2 hours less a day
I wake up after like 6 hours and I physically can't fall back asleep. And I'm not one of those dudes who can function properly with this much.
Am I just not used to actually being excited about my day? Anyone with similar experiences?

Nice edit
Almost missed it
Lol ty for pointing this out. I wonder why real celebrities never go for this kind of humor.
>I wonder why real celebrities never go for this kind of humor.
Because they would lose all their sponsors and shit. How stupid are you?
But they would get over in the hearts of the people. The only celebrities I can think of that did as they pleased were Bobby Fisher and Gilbert Gottfried.
>I wonder why real celebrities never go for this kind of humor
No clue
I usually sleep 6 hours a day but I mostly function just fine. Never feel really rested first thing in the morning but gym goes well in the afternoon so that's all that really matters. Is this a recent thing for you? Could just be that you need to keep your room colder or adjust meal timea before bed.
Falling asleep is easy, homie. Don't be playing on your phone without a light filter for at least an hour before bed, keep your bedroom cold (I don't cover myself until I'm asleep and it's winter). And have dinner with at least a couple hours of margin before going to bed. Take magnesium before bed, helps with sleep quality and muscle recovery. Getting exhausted with cardio also helps, but not too close to bedtime. And also don't eat things like cocoa or apples before going to sleep, beware there are things that act like or contain caffeine that we normally don't think they do.
Oh, and also quite important, caffeine intake should stop 10h before sleepy time.
I do all of those, and I also take melatonin. I have absolutely zero problems falling asleep, it usually takes me under a minute. I have a problem with waking up prematurely.
>i take melatonin and have no issues falling asleep
No shit.
Your sleep quality is bad because you take melatonin, dipshit.
If you take melatonin too long your body stops making it, just beware
Are you on a cut? It's significantly Hardee to stay asleep on a cut.
I'm maintaining/very very slowly bulking.
Exactly the same situation. Everything is going smooth and I'm married with a good wife, and I sleep perhaps 6 hours a night, maybe. I just wake up extremely early and when I go to sleep, I can't fall asleep at all, just turn around in bed. I actually with I could sleep like a long for 9 fricking hours straight but I just can't.
Those are some ugly fricking people.
>falling asleep is easy
>just follow this precise list of 37 instructions while normal people just lie down and sleep
What is up with pro strongman taking each other's wives when they die? Brian Shaw isn't the only pro to take the wife of a guy who died.
A bro always spots you when you can't keep going.
There are very few guys that like strongmen. So once a guy dies, that frees up one of the only chicks that will ever date a guy like them
Very few girls like strongmen*
It's a lot of money to invest when it might not be the issue but have you got a co2 monitor?
Sometimes co2 buildup overnight can cause you to wake because you become mildly physically uncomfortable.
Also it would explain not feeling 100% when you first wake up.
You can get a monitor with enough accuracy for around $100.
If you sleep with the window open this is probably irrelevant.
mabie your gf bodyheat is making your bed too hot? try blasting that AC bro, idk could work.
What his poor family must be going through after all those deeds hes done
Frick its all can think of now when i see him posted here now thanks buttholes
they probably sleep like babies knowing how safe they are with shaw around
you think any of 'those' are gonna try to break in to a house with brian shaw in it?
I thought hes on death row for the crimes hes committed
Thats what everybody here has been telling me that hes committed atrocious crimes against humanity and he must walk the line now
>the crimes hes committed
what has he done?
he knows what he did
That's because you're living a life you actually want to live
It's easy to sleep forever when you're trying to escape
It's not necessarily a bad thing, just make sure to manage your stress and eat the extra calories for the extra uptime
I'll never be able to explain to anyone why I found your picrel to be the funniest shit I've ever seen
I have the same problem as you OP. Ever since I hit my mid-30s my sleep quality has gotten much worse.
It's not horrible, but like you, I fall asleep very quickly and I just wake up an hour or two before I'd like to. Sometimes I can fall back asleep but most of the time I can't. Once in a blue moon I'll sleep for 8 hours+ and I feel like I'm on some sort of drug when I wake up.
I just sort of assume my sleep issues are a side effect of aging (almost 40). I'm active, have a relatively low stress job and a great family life.
I've quit coffee cold turkey to see if that helps (on day 3 with zero side effects positive or negative). I'd definitely ditch the melatonin if you can. I only use that as a nuclear option if I can't sleep and I've heard it can permanently mess with your hormones with long term use.
Brian Shaw? Yeah I know him by that name. Hell, I worked with him in Nam. Back then we called him "slant-eye slashing" Shaw because he never came out of a tunnel without a scalp, an ear, or covered with blood.
Most would call him insane, but that is why the green berets trained him. They saw potential. It wasn't until they learned his methods that they truly realized what a monster they created.
You see, most guys that go tunnel clearing take guns. Not Brian. No, he took knives, clubs, hatchets, sometimes nothing but his bare hands. After a few missions I got a chance to talk to him in the mess. He was wearing his blood stained hat, sunglasses, and combat fatigues, smoking a cigarette and drinking johnny walker black. It was contraband, but you NEVER told Brian what he could and couldn't do.
I asked him why he never took guns with him. He lowered is head and took a long slow draw from his hand rolled cig, pulled off his sun glasses and looked me right in the eyes, piercing my soul.
"I do it out of respect. Respect for the white race. These slant eye'd scum bags don't deserve the mercy of an American made bullet, but the slow torturous death of the hands of an American man!"
In a flash he pulled out his weathered, but razor sharp knife and stopped just short of sticking my gut. "The look in their eyes when I slip this baby into their swollen, rice filled bellies is reason enough. To see the last lights flick off in their heads as they see a real killer work."
