I can't help but like bacon, but pork in any other form disgusts me. My cousins lived on a pig farm growing up. My uncle always had to warn us to not stand on the fence or they'd bite our toes. They ate any unlucky cat or other animal who went in, they ate each other. There was one designated spot on the woods they'd dump the dead ones that I would have to pass in my childhood exploration - their decaying smell and gross, bloated bodies can never be forgotten. Then you look at them alive, and their stomachs are bloated in the same way, dirty and hairy. Disgusting.

I fricking love pork. Bacon, ribs, ham, pork loin, pork chops, pulled pork, etc. Feral hog is great too. The big sows and boards are tougher than boot leather, but younger ones are still nice and tender. And even the older, tougher ones are good eating if you just turn them into carnitas.
