Be honest with me ISTizen, is Ozempic really that wonder drug? Because after reading about it it just seems to help one to keep a calorie in/out target by suppressing ones hunger.

Yes that's exactly the point, if it helps you control calories in/out then you lose weight, and it works quite well at it. It's not exactly a wonder drug as of now since it still has some side effects like nausea and vomiting. Ozempic will eventually be one of the worse drugs given Zepbound (Tirzepatide) and other new drugs will begin entering the market with either more efficacy or a better safety profile.
The true final form is when the pharma companies manage to make them in a pill form. The GIGA final form will be when they start going generic which I believe for Ozempic is in about 8 years.

I have been on zepbound for the lest 2 months and dropped about 25 pounds in that time

I was 300 in November and I am sitting at 260 now. AS a guy who was that big the big thing about the drug is almost a mental reset, the desire to constantly look for the next snack/meal is gone.
The drug also slows down your GI alot so it actually gets more difficult to eat large meals, my current lunch is 10 oz of chicken and 6-8oz of mixed veggies and not only is it hard to finish but you stay full for a while.

I can see how easy it is to eat nothing and feel mostly fine, but I don't like that and I have been working hard to lift 5 times a week to try and add muscle while still at a 500-1000 cal deficit.
Not sure I could have really gotten kickstarted without it.

You could do all the same things by just telling yourself no. You need big pharma to come in and remove willpower from the equation because you have absolutely zero resolve.

You are mentally weak and your weight loss will teach you nothing at all. Consequently you will gain it all back.

You've learned nothing, accomplished nothing, unless you ultimately decide to do it without the drugs, now that you know for sure that a lack of eating won't kill you.

You are clearly new to this shit so I’ll go easy on you. The best you can hope for in that steep a deficit is to retain the muscle you already have while leaning out. I implore you to get off the weight loss drugs as soon as possible and go forth into your new lifestyle naturally.

Cocaine is an appetite suppressant. For the first 50 years or so after we invented industrial farming (so food was infinitely plentiful for the first time in human history) everyone was on cocaine and cigarettes so they didn't overeat the infinite food.

apple cider vinegar helps with regulating your blood sugar, which helps with not feeling hungry all the time.
Also do something else when you are hungry: work, exercise, watch a movie, study, play games.

intermittent fasting also helps you understand that the feeling of being hungry will go away after a while. You are usually eating out of habit, not because you NEED to eat to stay alive.

You can see her "Ozempic face" forming. Celebrities are better at hiding it with cosmetics, but its really obvious on normies. A "wonder drug" doesn't make your face fricked up as a side effect.
Oh yeah, and a common side effect of Ozempic is loss of bowel control. You can find many anecdotes online where Ozempic users are regularly shitting the bed at night.

Ozempic face isn't a real condition. Anyone who loses weight, regardless of how they do it, will likely have some sagging.

        Anonymous

You're correct in that its due to skin sag, but the high rate weight is lost with Ozempic isn't natural, much faster than their skin can properly shrink. The only natural weight loss method you can compare Ozempic to is literal starvation. And since it seems like many Ozempic users are 40+ years old women, their skin elasticity is really shitty and it may take years to fix without surgery.

It's still better than maintaining your fat mass.

          >statins

Risk of diabetes from statins is massively overblown. Even high-intensity rosuvastatin only increased HbA1c by an average of 0.1% compared to placebo. If you're not prone to diabetes, take a statin. If you're already diabetic, you need a statin even more (alongside other medications).
The effect of statins on liver and other organs are also transient and values normalize over a few months. At the very least it wasn't an issue in the longer term studies. Considering that most people die from cardiovascular reasons, everyone should be on a statin.

Lifting with more intensity, biking to work and thinking about running soon.

I doubt that it would be efficacious for most people. The root of obesity is people leading meaningless lives without hobbies or other things to occupy them. When you're sitting at home all day on your phone, counting down the minutes until you have to go to bed and go to work the next day, what's the fastest and easiest way to occupy yourself? Junk food. I already take a drug that's supposed to suppress appetite (Wellbutrin), and when I find myself bored and lazy, all I want to do is eat. It doesn't matter whether or not I'm hungry. When I'm working or doing something fun, I don't eat because I'm not even thinking about it.

Anyways, I wish Mindy Kaling would make me curry then make me cummy.
