Be real with me anons, will I be able to eat normally with these teeth?

Be real with me anons, will I be able to eat normally with these teeth? Just saw the dentist after probably a decade of neglect and did a deep cleaning (had a large amount of tartar on bottom teeth and everything feels kind of off though that could be just needing to wait for my mouth to get used to new teeth). Looking for alittle peace of mind is all.

sounds super real because even a total moron would have asked the dentist this question if the dentist didnt tell them.

They said I could eat normally when asked if I should take any precautions but when chewing on a strawberry it didn't feel so good so I wondering if anyone could share their knowledge so I can know if I'll be able to eat things like strawberries again after a few more days recovery and it was just a bad idea?

No, but look at the bright side. You're clearly british, so your food sucks, no great loss.

Did you always have such a huge gap there? Have you considered invisalign or braces to attempt correction?

It wasn't there before to my recollection but maybe it was just hidden from view due to the tartar build up. I also wonder if the gap might be caused by the tooth thinning out due to receding gum because of tartar build up.

Won't your teeth break if you bite? Looks structurally unsafe.

Well the strawberry was pretty hard and didn't seem to do any damage so far. This is still less than 24 hours from deep cleaning so I'm hoping it structures itself well enough during the next few days of gum recovery.

I think you just need to give your gums some time to recover but I'm not a dentist.

You have some serious gum recession and it's more than likely you'll end up losing a few pieces because of that
Anyway give it some time and see how it progresses.

You are dealing with some serious recession here anon. I developed periodontal disease in one section of my gum and manged to fix it, but this is a lot worse than mine was. I'll give you my routine, it should at least help the situation a bit.

You will also want to stick to softer foods. You will never eat nuts again. A strawberry being "hard" is concerning. Try cutting your foods up into smaller pieces instead of trying to bite into them. You may want to avoid biting anything using your front teeth for some time.

    >Anon's Gum Correction Routine
    >r.o.c.s. moisturizing toothpaste, with a single drop of sweet fennel oil on top
    >brush twice per day
    >follow with tongue scrapers
    >ayurvedic mouthwash with neem + other herbs, plus one single drop of oregano oil. You can also just get oregano mouthwash, but this combo is gentler
    >finish off with a red tooth light

Good luck anon. It looks like you will need it.

I went to the dentist for the first time in 6 year. Not a single cavity or anything. He only scraped a tiny bit of tartar from between some teeth. He couldn't believe that I hadn't been to a dentist in 6 years.

That was 3 years ago now that I think about it. Maybe I should go again sometime.

Is this an actual pic of your teeth? There is something about this pic that makes it look like its from google and not a homemade pic. I dunno why it is.

you should get a toothbrush with a hard brush and ensure you brush your gums, they're receded really hard, you need to stimulate them, also tbh these teeth are terrible I'd just get veeners or crowns
