Here’s a set of clippers with a really fricking long guard on them.
You can trim going with the grain and it will cut your hair at a specific length.
They’re good for when you’re trying to grow a longer beard and don’t want to look super crazy.
They come in various sizes and usually snap on/off the end of the clippers. It just provides a buffer space between you and the clipper ensuring an even length trim.

That's much better anon but the thing that's gonna take your beard to the next level is CRISP LINES on your cheeks. Try to get a razor or some kind of very sharp blade to get nice crisp lines.
You imght have to "lower" your lines a little bit since your beard is a little sparser on your cheeks, but it's gonna be worth it for that crisp and clean look. Right now those zones where your beard is more sparse make it look like your cheek lines are uneven or unkempt (try squinting or looking at the thumbnail and it's gonna be clearer)

I agree, I stopped in at a barber shop and asked for a touch up (I just wanted to clean up my neckline) and they used a razor above my cheeks and it looked so frickin’ weird. Almost artificial.
I just use my clippers with no guard and shave anything that’s too high up on my face.
A different time I went into a black barbershop just to get my neckline cleaned up and they shaved half my fricking moustache off.

Depends on how your beard grows and also how long you grow it. My mustache doesn't connect so I have to trim it differently than someone that does. If I grow it longer, I trim further down my neck to fill it out more.

That's too high. Set your vertex about an inch to an inch and a quarter above your Adam's apple. From there, a nice straight line ten to fifteen degrees toward back of neck.

You're supposed to put your middle finger on your adams apple and where your index finger lands is where you want your neck line to be shaved in. This mostly applies to short beards. The pic you posted looks pretty good. You just don't want the fleshy part of your chin/jaw to show when you turn your heard or look up.
