I really want to grow a beard because I think its the best way to boost my facial attractivenes, sadly I can barely grow anything at all...
I'm 18, picrel is my facial hair after 1 week of growth.
What would you guys reccommend to increase beard growth? Tips on diet, skincare, etc. would be helpful. also, If this doesnt work, is it worth trying minoxydil?
I should mention that i have mild keratosis pilaris(skin condition), mainly on my cheeks, so that might have something to do with the lack of hair. I havent done any testosterone tests, but I get morning wood and have a good sex drive, so I guess its alright.
Body hair can take a long time to come in for people. My beard wasn't done until like age 27.
>minoxydil
it works but get the foam not the liquid or it'll dry your skin and you'll get wrinkles at 18 kek
How much is minox? I’m actually very interested in trying it but I need to do more research on the minox subreddit.
Is it really as simple as ordering a bottle of it online and applying it twice a day?
I haven't used it but that's pretty much it
make sure no cat touches your face or your pillow cuz minox is toxic to cats and kills them in a matter of hours
>How much is minox?
6 month supply for 30 dollars on amazon, just buy generic.
are the gains permanent?
depends honestly, I see some claiming that they are, some claiming the opposite, but the gains are real if you are constant with it
Yes and No. Minoxidil helps you start growth with tiny hairs. Thise tiny hairs can fall off if you stop using minox.
Once those tiny hairs reach terminal status, meaning they grow thicker, taller, and change color that when growth is permanent. Because facial hair growth promotes additional hairs to wake up naturally, not only do you get permanent gains, but those gains can lead to you not needing Minoxidil eventually.
that honestly convinced me bro. this is probably more of a question for later, but how do you know when the hairs are terminal, and when you should stop using minoxidil?
If you don't mind risking your dick breaking, have fun

minox is non-hormonal, worst it can do is frick with your blood pressure if you take it orally
there's a reason it's sold OTC in the US, every EU country and Korea without a prescription
fat hypochondriacs would rather blame it than fix their lives
you can kinda tell by their thickness
Shave every other day with a good razor
I had like no beard till I got a job that required me to have a beard or be clean shaven and after a yet my beard came in.
>think of the women who shave instead of wax
>oh and don’t be a homosexual and shave against the grain
>cannot stress GOOD RAZOR enough
>and use good after shave without alcohol
`whats the difference between shaving with or against the grain?
More risk of ingrown hairs iirc
If you can't grow a full beard, just grow a goat, depending on your facial structure it'll make your jaw look even more defined
Grew mine out recently and ladies seem to like it, and people mention that they like it fairly often whenever I go out
Who knew just looking a tad different would make you stand out so much
I have never seen a man with a goatee and thought
>that's a good look
I think it makes your mouth look like a butthole with a ring of hair around it. Not like, (You) specifically but chances are you aren't an exception to the rule, sorry mate.
Not a full goatee, the detached kind. Think Jack Sparrow.
Yeah what the other anon said, mine right now is a moustache and a bit ~3in of hair that only covers my chin, they are not connected, I know what you mean and I agree, it's not the best look
My jawline is fine but my chin bone just ends too short, I don't even need much to shore it out and it's helped my confidence tremendously
>pending on your facial structure it'll make your jaw look even more defined
The reason I want to grow a beard is to cover up the shitty jawline lol. but I guess a goaty could work since its mainly my chin im worried about
