I tried this and when I get home the training mindset is gone. I said I'll do them at home right after training but never did them. At the gym I always get them done because I'm in training mode.

ATTENTION: If you do this, DO NOT HOLD YOUR BREATH IN! I did the Valsalva Maneuver during the eccentric and it gave me vertigo which hasn't resolved after a week. Not sure if it'll clear up but I hope it does.

If you still care about people at the gym, you will never EVER make it. The only reason I would ever care about doing these is because I might be taking up the cable machine area if someone else wanted to use the other side. They can take a video if they want. It's ok but attaching the weight this far off is not optimal. Smaller weights closer to the harness enable a better range of motion.
i do neck curls on a bench at peak hours and no one ever dared to tell me anything. they know based on my neck size that i would absolutely obliterate them in a fight

The bodybuilders mass is in his chest which makes breathing harder when you sleep, as opposed to just having a fat gut.
And neck size is still the main factor because the mass in the neck mechanically compresses the airway while lying down.

Once you're out of DYEL you can do whatever you want comfortably
