Benching every single day

I have been benching every day for the last three weeks none stop.

It has become a addiction, I physically can't force myself to stop benching.

I also go for about 2-3 hours, although I have gone for a 4 hour session two days ago.

Is this healthy?

Obviously but how bad is it REALLY?

Btw I hit my max until failure and then slowly decrease over the hours long session.

I probably do a good few hundred sets within that time.

Every single day is too much but 5x is still very acceptable. Most serious bench programs have you benching at least 4x a week.

Are you even getting stronger at bench?

The same thing happened to me when I got a pull-up bar at home. Don't worry, you'll eventually grow tired from it just like I did.

How old are you, and are you new to lifting? I remember always wanting to bench when I was 15 and didn’t know or care about other exercises

If you want to bench every day, go for it. I probably wouldn’t do it for as long as you said. The biggest thing I’d say is cut down your bench time to 15-30 minutes tops and do other exercises like face pulls, rear delt flys, and a pull-down movement so you don’t develop a muscle imbalance. Ideally, you want your upper back, lats, and rear delts to develop proportionally to you chest and front delts. Also, working those other muscles will actually help your bench press.

I also didn’t start really hit legs until a while later, so once you realize you’re too heavy with chicken legs just start hitting 2 leg days a week and you’ll be fine.

It's fine as long as your body can take it. If you experience joint pain, reduce the bench training. If you find what you're doing fun I see no reason to stop

Good one John, see you in the office on monday!

How much did you progress in these 3 weeks?

    I ignore women

Yes, my bench shot up when I pushed the frequency to 6 times a week. My recommendation is rest for one day like God did
