Your wanting to do it is more important. You could literally do it with jumping rope or jumping jacks or whatever have you. I would do cardio without any equipment for at least a month consistently before buying anything
I don't intend to buy anything. The gym I go to has everything and was wondering if there is any benefit of one over the other. I usually go to the treadmill and only rarely on bike. Never tried the stairmaster as it looks dangerous and never seen anyone try it. But maybe there's something to it.
Stairmaster is popular. I use a stationary bike because i like to walk outside and a treadmill feels like im doing nothing unless i do incline.
For actual running i go outside
Be careful with cheapo threadmills. I bought one, it advertised it rises to 15% slope but i compared it to the ones at my gym and that "15%" isnt even a 8% in the ones of the gym. Its better than nothing, i guess
Treadmill for cardio and condition, bike is just for burning calories it doesn't do shit. That's why you see a lot of women doing bike and keeping themselves thin but still can't move 2 feet without dying.
Running this isn't even a contest. Running and skipping are the 2 best forms of cardio because they have more impact, making your skeleton adapt more to exercise. Low impact cardio is a meme unless you're injured or obese.
It is incredibly easy to control heartrate with both bike and treadmill. Bike is better on joints but treadmill might be better if you have back pain or problems sitting a while

Both will do. It depends which makes you feel more comfortable and any injuries you may have.
