Bicep gap muscle

How do you train this bicep gap muscle? Mine is very small compared to the bicep itself like the left drawing and my girlfriend commented that I should train it more. Her best friend has that muscle and he doesn't lift, just plays basketball.

Rotate your wrist while flexing in front of the mirror

      Rows, rows & more rows
Also do hammers to blow up the top of ur forearm , you'll close the gap faster.

      o7

Holy shit fricking morons. That's just his bicep insert which is high. Not trainable and just comes down to genetics.

hypothetically he could only train brachialis to make the gap ratio better

written by an inexperienced lifter. some of us are advanced and need to train certain muscles more than others for aesthetics, you'll get there one day

You can’t change your muscle insertions but you can make your forearms/biceps/brachialis bigger to make the gap appear smaller.

Just calling someone and idiot or a moron isn't enough, you also need to sit in your ivory tower of intellectualism disparaging the middling masses because how dare they be so ignorant to even attempt discourse with you

your girlfriend is moronic, your short bicep is purely genetics and there is nothing you can do about it

  6. 4 months ago

genetics, all depends on muscle insertions

It’s just bicep inserts which is genetic. Some people have the muscle extend all the way down, others don’t. How are you going to grow a part of your body that has no muscle. People here are really moronic thinking you can fix that. Also your girl is getting piped by her “friend”

does anyone have that ugly big guy that roided out to look even uglier that had a massive gap like his insertions were almost on the level of delts lol

  9. 4 months ago
    Anonymous

Your insertions are what they are but bigger biceps and forearms are still gonna close the gap somewhat. People often curl with a probated grip thinking it'll fill out the gap area but it actually doesn't. It hits the bicep peak area AND does it at a mechanical disadvantage so it doesnt even hit it that hard. Traditional supinated curls done strict and with a full stretch at the bottom hit the gap area on the bicep side and wrist extensions hit it on the forearm side.

        What, like surgically?

no with exercise. Stretching exercises like incline curls move the insertion lower. Preach curls move it higher

Holy shit that's a c**t move from the gf.

    The messaging here is three-fold

    > she's been looking at his arms enough to notice
    > she thinks that a specific element of his arms is better than yours
    > despite the implications of points 1 and 2, she's happy to tell you and - what's more - tell you to be more like the guy she's been looking at

    Unreal.

Anyway if you ain't baiting with the thread it's insertions. I guess you could put on fat to smooth that bit out bur doesn't it just make your bicep peak look better?

    tl;dr ignore her

It's your insertions OP, that's how far your bicep is connected to the tendon. It's genetic, look at arnold's.

My problem is that the outer side of my biceps is flat. From every other dimension they're full, but I don't know why they're as flat as a board on the outer arm.

    Any lifts to fix this?

Think hammer curls hit the outside bicep head more

Small gap looks best in my opinion with jacked forearms

  19. 4 months ago
    Anonymous

you can definitely decrease the gap a little by growing biceps and forearms. i used to have a 4 finger gap and it’s now 3. unfortunately it’s mainly genetics
