    Not eating fast food is the easiest thing ever. Especially if you do the math and realize you can feed yourself for 3 days for the price of 1 meal in a fast food "restaurant". Or alternatively go to a real restaurant and have a normal dinner for just 2x the price of this slop.

            Oh so we're talking about roughly the same scale/cost. I was thinking a 15-20 euro slop meal, and this amount can effectively buy me 3 days worth of home cooked food (2-3kg of chicken, rice, carrots, onions).

      this statement is only half true. fast food is addictive, just like drugs or alcohol. if you're already addicted, it's pretty hard to stop consuming it. but if you can kick the habit for a couple months straight, then yeah, saying no to fast food is very easy.

      Get a kilogram of ground beef, you can make 3-6 rissoles depending on size.
      You can make your own tzatziki or hommus and eat them with that. Do away with the buns, have the salad on the side. That's one meal of many for the day.

        Why does that comment require elaboration? A milkshare made at home might have like 20g of sugar while at a fast food joint it has 70g of sugar. The burger and fries have double the fat etc. Not to mention the low quality ingredients and preservatives and artificial crap they have to use.

            Post scamdemic fast food is so easy to avoid now because it’s expensive as hell and shitty. Last time I was at five guys was 3ish years ago and it was fricking $50 for 3 people (burger, fries, drink). You would have to be a grade A moron to eat fast food everyday now.

            If you buy high quality ice cream it’s possible as long as you stick with regular flavors (vanilla, chocolate etc) and do the recommended serving size.

        All of it is healthier if you make it yourself. You can buy healthier ice cream at the store than what they sell at fast food joints, and that's if you don't make it yourself. Everything homemade is healtheir than the fast food versions so long as you don't drench it in seed oils and corn syrup like they do. Even as small a change as using ketchup with real sugar instead of corn syrup or using homemade probiotic pickles

    Just plan your meals for that day around the bigger one, or fast the day after, worked for me, probably not the healthiest thing but it's allowed me to go drinking and get fast food with friends and family while still losing weight
