People in general have just no clue what their actual TDEE is for many reasons. Again it's a little bit on the lower side but if you live a sedentary life and spent a lot of time watching anime your calories are just not gonna be that high. Lifting weights doesn't not burn many calories at all.

If NH puts 85+% of the gym exercices as isolation work, it's not just to do "meme isolations", but he in fact thinks it's useful, or else why the frick else would he even bother and not just parrot Mark Rippetoe? If you want to be powerlifter, fine. But Hypertrophy isn't that.

This is a straw man because riptoe is a strength coach. His programs are about the intensity for strength. NH has always maintained 80% of your stimulus is from the compounds, he does it with hypertrophy sets. That's why his first set is a compound you get the most stimulus. If he valued isolations more he'd program them first. You're coping and couldn't be more wrong.

You're first lift isn't necessarily the one that's most important to you. I always start my full body days with leg training because I hate training legs and want to get it over with.
He has said to start with deadlift or squat because if you do them at the end and are fatigued you may get injured.

You're arguying semantics here, you will get the most stimulus on the first lift when you're fresh, for you it's you hate doing it and getting more stimulus would mean you can do less of it, but for NH and generally for bodybuilding it's because you get the most gains from it. you finish with isolations because it's bordering junk volume and not as important
