Blood Flow Hacks

I really really need to improve my blood circulation. Can you share ways that you found that helped you? It can be normal things or even things that "only biohackers do"

I have raynauds, where your blood vessels pull blood from the outer extremeties (usually fingertips) in the cold (sometimes randomly too) among things that help it, like not doing stimulants, nicotine, etc, I read about a researcher who had success by having those with raynauds "attacks" go out into the cold for 15 mins, then come inside and soak their hands in hot water for 15, then go back outside, do this for idk 10 days and he said it "trained" the blood vessels to pump blood to them in the cold instead of pulling the blood into the torso

Raynaud's is a meme. I used to think I had it, fingers would turn white and lose feeling when I was cold. Started taking cold showers and I have excellent circulation now.
Do regular cardio, can be anything that gets your heart pumping, cold water exposure (can be after hot water like I do), garlic, ginger, build lean tissue. All of that helped.

underdress for the cold. Drive with your car windows down in the winter, or at least don't use the heat in your car. Then also, in the summer, avoid shorts, wear long sleeved shirts. You want to make yourself better at adapting to less than ideal temperatures.
It's been a huge improvement in my life. Not only am I not uncomfortable until much higher/lower temps, but even in those high and low temps I perform better whether dealing with mental tasks or physical exercise. Temperature management is an extremely neglected area of health. Eventually you will be better at distinguishing "feeling cold/hot vs. your core body temperature actually dropping out of homeostasis

Based. In the cold I dress as minimal as possible because I hate wearing coats.

Especially the HIIT. Do Tabata sets. Do one full set, which would be eight rounds (learn more about it and you'll know what I mean) then wait one minute between the next set, repeat another eight rounds, and you can add as many sets as you want, just put a minute between each

I'm doing 1 minute all out cycling at high load and the 1 minute rest and then repeat for 20 minutes. Makes me almost throw up, but i feel like a god afterwards.

          Anonymous

If that's what you want to do I guess, but personally I don't think wanting to throw up is a good thing. Tabata is scientifically proven to be the best method to improve vo2 max, it utilizes both the anaerobic and aerobic systems at the same time because you're anaerobically exploding for twenty seconds then those ten seconds are just enough to allow you to anaerobically explode again, and this keeps the heart pumping.

L-citrulline (don't forget l-lysin as citrulline competes with it for absorbtion. Lysin also helps to restore blood vessels)
    K2mk7
    Magnesium glycibate
D3 (don't forgwt k2, magbesium, boron and get your blood work done)
    Nattokinease
    Pomegranate juice
    Lumbrokinase
    Sauna
    Infra-red light
Walking for an hour every day.
All together, and your cardiovascular system will be of a 20yo in your 70s.

Not the dude who posted the list, but for sure and by FAR and a WIDE margin,
        >walking for an hour every day
        Only then
        >K2
        >pomegranate
Those are amazing, but the others posted do help as well

Citrulline not just opens up the existing arteries and veins, but turns capillaries into arteries and veins. So you don't even have to take them all the time if you have a high blood pressure from getting a lot of muscles of fat. Several months would do the trick.
K2 is a must if you don't eat grass fed meat/eggs/milk or natto. Industrial animal products don't contain it.
Magnesium is quite important as soils are depleted. Plus modern agricultural methods produce greens that don't have much of it. Same with boron. Glycine also relaxes nervous system which opens up blood vessels. Both good for sleep before bed.
D3 if you don't stay enough in the sun. 20min per day when uvb is at the highest point would do the trick. Use dminder to see when it happens.
Lumbrokinease is way more potent than nattokinease or serrapeptase. It not just removes fibrosis cloths when needed, but also builds it up when needed. So I would recommend a few month on it (it's quite expensive), and then switching to nattokinase for maitenance.
Our heart isn't the only muscle that pumps blood. Veins have valves and when pressed the blood is pushed in one direction. We wouldn't be able to walk or run if it was only the heart. So walking is a must. Would be good to also train leg muscles. Most people who have athlets/bulls heart are actually not athlets, but obese people with very weak leg muscles. It's just the young people who get it are athlets who train way too much and kill their heart with extreme programs. But if you don't want to get it in your 50s, or want to have a good bloodflow in your limps, you need to walk and train muscles. This one is extremely important.
All in all, lumbrokinease, citrulline - temporary.
D3 with all the cofactors (magnesium, k2, boron) and light cardio are a must for life.

Second thought, I would add liposomal vit c. It's important for colagen synthesis and tge defiency might be the reason of fricked up cardiovascular system. Especially if you have shit like varicose veins. The you definitely have bad collagen synthesis as valves in veins are made from collagen.
So if you don't eat enough of fruit, try it.

do more steady state exercise throughout the day. take more showers. soak your feet in epsom salt.
    >even things that "only biohackers do"
ok so hormonal adjustments are pretty reliable here.
more testosterone, growth hormone, and thyroid hormones will all do it. i'm also speaking from personal experience.

Neck-down cold water submersion every morning. Among many other benefits ranging from dopamine stimulation to sleepingbetter, one is that after the intense acute vaso-constriction that occurs during the cold itself you get a massive rebound effect and prolonged vaso-dilation throughout the rest of the day, increasing bloodflow and generally making your life better.
