When I drink Energy Drinks, I want to feel like I'm Dr.Jekyll turning into Mr.Hyde. Energy drinks should taste like battery acid and hit hard immediately. Coffee is a casual drink imo.

I already drink coffee and love it. Usually 1-2 cups a day. Usually have a redbull or monster once every few days and want permission from my esteemed IST colleagues to continue

Coffee makes me sleepy. All other forms of caffeine make me energized. Any other bros with this problem?

me sometimes. might be mold or immune reaction of some sort. also you need to be carbed up to use caffeine otherwise you get tired and wired shit. caffeine decreases glucose delivery to brain by constricting blood bessels so you beed higher blood sugar to feel ok.

I prefer the small cans of og redbull. Not too sweet and not too much of a good thing. Monsters are a once in a while thing and i agree they’re crazy sweet

All bullshit aside, Caffeine is one of the few no-bullshit supplements that can increase athletic performance for up to 6 hours after being ingested.
That being said, the less sugar the better when it comes to any soft or energy drink. They have started coming out with drinks that are just multi vitamins in a can, so do your own research or do black tea or coffee as a stand in.

Anecdotally? Drinking 1 (one) daily for 10 years gave me a kidney stone and left my stomach ripped with so many ulcers I have meds for it

I'd expect stomach ulcers in a few years, perhaps not so severe as medication but severe enough to give you heartburn

Was it on an empty stomach? Diet/nutritional deficiencies could also play a part in why some get ulcers and other don’t. I agree that people shouldn’t be drinking these every day but they really are godly. This is coming from an energy drink noob. I like normal redbull and the ultra paradise monster personally

            >Was it on an empty stomach?
sorta? Drank it with breakfast, sometimes I'd do it 50/50 with OJ sometimes not.
I'm fairly convinced I got the worst end of the luck with it, knowing I've met people who drank 2 a day for 3 years and came out more or less fine. I didn't really ever notice any problems until I quit them tbf, it might have something to do with status quo and all that.

There is literally nothing in an anergy drink that drinking own a day would do that to you. You probably have a crappy lifestyle or diet in some way honestly if you are drinking 365 energy drinks a year

the caffeine content and high acidity?
        >You probably have a crappy lifestyle or diet in some way honestly if you are drinking 365 energy drinks a year
I cook 3 meals a day, keep under 30mL of oil a day, drink 3 glasses of water, and manage my salt intake well enough I was actually low sodium for a month or two last year.
I readily admit it was just shit genetics my lad.

          >the caffeine content and high acidity?
Its got 140mg of caffeine. Its not high at all. People drink multiple coffees a day and are fine the acidity is not more than a piece of tart fruit

            >People drink multiple coffees a day and are fine
there is 1/4 of the caffeine in an equivalent volume of coffee, you'd have to drink almost 2 L to match that amount
I specified it was a long term exposure of 10 years
don't know what's so hard to understand

A cup of coffee is around 80-100 milligrams of caffeine. Nothing you just said is correct.

But I’ve drank those drinks for like years, I usually have 1-3 cans a day. So approx. 400mg on average, I don’t even get the caffeine effect anymore, it’s more just for taste.
I usually drink monster zero, c4, or ghost.
