No, they give you DOMS because you actually progress. Unlike 2x a week subhumans that move fluff weight and do only 4 sets per muscle group.

Keep it up. Frick PPL and Full body subhumans. They will never get anywhere with that crap.

I've played all around on different programs been a natty my whole life, make sure you do cardio but bro spilts seem to give me the best results like I do triceps and chest for a day hour 1/2 next day is forearms or a rest cardio day you get the idea

The reason you get DOMS every time is because you are only training a muscle group every 7 days like you pointed out. Your body recovers and goes back to baseline, and you get sore again.
Unless youre actually progressing in weight/reps, youre just getting sore because you didn't adapt to the workload,

        >t. moron
That’s literally how it works? Do you even lift? If you take a 1-2 week break you’ll usually be sore as hell on your first day back in the gym. I had a friend who was inconsistent(1-2 a week) and he was sore as shit every time he worked out, simply because didn’t work out often enough. DOMS is not a sign of progress. If anything it’s a sign that you are undertrained, nothing more.

you must be moronic if you think that. if you don't get DOMS after a workout, you're not training hard enough. like what do you think breaking down and stressing a muscle feels like? DOMS. how do you get stronger and bigger? see previous sentence.

You are beyond dyel if you get DOMS even remotely often unless your doing a completly new movement. Again, do you even lift? I was benching 3x a week and went from 250 to 285 and my chest got bigger. Was I ever sore? Obviously not.

Its so funny to me that benching 285lbs is something that requires "posting body". Thats such an easy psychological read that it implies you think 285lbs bench is so good and that guy has way better gains than you have which makes it so unbelievable that you need him to post body.

Its like someone saying to me they bench 135lbs then going "PROOF PROOF? POST BODY, POST BODY, PROOF"? 285lbs is a fricking shit bench, why the frick would I need to see his body for? Truly shows that nobody on this board fricking lifts. Jesus christ.

didn't read. You're the one posting about raising bench 35 lbs in one week and not feeling DOMS. You're either larping or you train with minimal intensity, hence why you don't feel DOMS. in any case, neck hang til failure for being obtuse

, hes just got a brain unlike you.
Nobody claimed to gain 35 lbs in a week, I said I was doing a 3x week bench program and gained 35 on my bench. (In like 3 months)

Thats most definitely NOT slow, are you insane?. That would be 140 lbs in a year. I started at 250 that would have put at 390, which obviously doesn't and didn't happen. My current estimated 1 RM is at around 325 and this was about a year ago. Unless your roided out of your mind who the frick is gaining considerably more than 75 lbs on their bench in a year?
And to get back to the original topic, I wasted so much time doing these shitty low frequency routines, and I'm clearly not the only one. Most people who are long term gymgoers barely progress, doubly so for the low frequency crowd.

Depends on his height and weight, I'm 5'6 140lbs, that would be a big bench for me

People forget the fact that some muscles still being used on different muscle group days.
Shoulders will get worked quite a lot on Chest day.
Forearms and biceps are still getting some stimulus on shoulders/back day.
And ur back still getting some kind of stimulus during shoulders/arms day if you do shit like chinups, standing OHP or even fricking standing barbell curls.

Yes the frequency is too low obviously
Any non DYEL will tell you you need to bench and squat 2x a week minimum to make progress
