Low body fat. Loss of body fat is easily noticed on hands and face.
Also Hands and face are usually most exposed to the sun/UV.

If he was serious and actually wanted to help humanity hed pay for a clinical trial and have 100 to 1000 people under his supervision. But he isnt, hes just paying for himself and then showing off what he does, which some might find entertaining, but doing research on 1 person is meaningless.

the big flaw with this is that it's all symptomatic markers compared to population average, not causal markers

for example when you work out, your symptomatic markers improve. sure, this means a lower risk of some diseases, which means longer expected life. but you don't get younger. if anything, your increased metabolism makes you age faster

I wonder how much of the effect he's seeing really just comes from the expensive things that are out of reach for us non-millionaires. Like the prescribed Acarbose and Metformin, or whatever machines he's plugged into.

Like, is there any point to sticking to this guy's blueprints - only eating veggie smoothies and abstaining from alcohol and sugar - if you don't have access to those things?

      https://blueprint.bryanjohnson.co/#blueprint-starter-guide

      >Monthly Blueprint cost = $1,684.50
      >Food Costs $44.91 / day
      >Supplements Costs $11.24 / day
      >Kitchen Readiness Costs (one time cost) Total approx ~$500
      >Initial Test Costs (every 3 to 6 mths) Total: ~$350

He does most of the testing and experimenting on himself. That level of testing and measurement isn't needed for regular people following the blueprint

plus he has a privarte chef to make and meal prep all his meals

He has an aortic root of a 70 year old, that shit will pop before he makes 60.

thing is he knows about it and detected it early, plus has a team of 30 private doctors working on it. not much in the general population can say the same. He also has only been on this blueprint for around 2 years and notes how unhealthy his previous lifestyle was.

and he's being open and making it public which of his heart measurements aren't up to scratch which is much better than most fitness influencers already

I earn like $800 a month, and after paying rent and other shit I'm left with $350. Usually I spend $200 on food and I'm left with $150 for random expenses (stuff here isn't really cheaper than in the US)

And Americans still b***h about having it bad because they have to spend half their money on rent and they're only left with $2000 for other things, so sad.

Blueprint is a complicated juggling act that’s never been done before. We’re endeavoring to measure every organ and biological process of my body. With that data in hand, we then focus on maximally slowing my speed of aging and rejuvenating everything we can to a younger biological age.

There are trade-offs and careful considerations everywhere. We are in uncharted territory.

I started HGH therapy in February 2023 for thymus rejuvenation to enhance my immune system. The thymus is a gland in the chest which gets smaller and less effective with age. We will be monitoring my thymus, IGF-1, & heart health to ensure effectiveness & safety.

It's a recipe for cancer. Cells slow their division and become senescent to improve the odds of longevity for the larger organism the cost of performance and beauty. Encouraging damaged genetic material to go on replicating itself will give the appearance of health while burning up the number of cycles the somatic tissues are good for. Even if he does somehow manage to rejuvenate all points of failure, it is a candle twice as bright situation.

this type of thing attracts many hypochondriacs who legitimately believe they can "feel" these kinds of supplements working; it's the lowest IQ shit you'll ever see. these are the same people who take a supplement that requires a month or two for effects to begin, and will report seeing/feeling changes within the first week of taking the supplement.

Maybe the low iq ones who benefit from the free placebo effect are the real winners after all

It's odd that a former skinny kid who went on steroids, and is still getting much more T than the average male with his TRT protocol, would take something like that.
He really is a lazy, undisciplined frick, which explains his chewed-up bubble gum peak form.

The idea you can pay your way out of a problem is very deep in mutts. It worked great at first but has gone mad. They give toddlers super powerful drugs and they calm down then shoot up a school later. The biggest thing for a long life is genetics. Then do not be fat and restricting calories. Being fat is worse than smoking by a lot.

Sadly for this guy and everyone else, how well you age is largely decided in how you've spent your younger years.
Did you make sure not to eat too much? Did you get plenty of sleep? Did you exercise regularly? Did you stay out of the sun? Did you avoid stress whenever possible?
Things like that will help you age better, but since children do not yet care about such things they usually frick up. It's still best not to worry about it though.

      Low body fat , no
But caloric restriction and fasting , yes

The low body fat is a result of that . He notes that he's attempting a careful biological balancing act on himself and he knows there are tradeoffs and has constant adjustments to suit
