Bulking as a broken person

I’m 6ft and weigh 165 pounds and wanna get stacked and jacked, but I also have type 1 diabetes since I was 18. How do you bulk and diet with that in mind? Most just seem to eat a shit ton of carbs but I’m sure that would frick me pretty hard, any advice?

The key to gaining muscle mass is protein, not carbs. The only reason you see people eating carbs is that they just do whatever a pro body builder does and emulate them or pretend that getting someone translates to gaining muscle faster (it doesn't). Carbs are only fuel during exercise. You really only need to eat enough carbs to replenish your glycogen.

Type 1 gay here as well Anon. Had it since 4 years old

Go low carb high protein. Even if you decide to eat more carbs you can adjust your insulin delivery to fit that profile of your eating. It will suck and take a few weeks to adjust but after a while your body will adapt

I feel really embarassed and weak whenever I have to stop working to bring my blood sugar back up.
Thats all a weird internal shame though, most people probably dont notice or care. But I am scared to go lower carb then my current diet since I work a very active job.
Could you give an example of your current diet fellow diabetus anon?

Natty "bulking" is just an extra piece of chicken and few slices of bread a day.
Or just get fat, I dont care
