can gyno "cure" itself?

friend of mine is a plastic surgeon and he's been telling me about patients who "had" gyno in the past but it went away on its own, if gyno is essentially a hormonal problem does it really ever "cure itself" or is the underlying problem of hormonal imbalance still there?

No, it doesn't cure itself. Once it's there, it needs surgery. That being said, but most people who think they have gyno, don't

I already get that, but these patients I'm talking about don't even get their test levels checked despite undergoing gyno surgery, like I said if gyno stems from hormonal imbalance isn't that moronic?

Depends. I had it, very minor, and it appears to be going away as I develop my pecs and eat better. YMMV.

it depends if it's just like a short term hormonal reaction or it's given the time to become cystic at which point it's like scar tissue it can' be absorbed into the body, metabolized for energy or whatever else no matter how bad the catabolism gets.

To a point yes but eventually we all need the knife

I had it during puberty for a year or so and its non existent now. Though mine wasnt as bad as most. Just a small but noticeable lump that was sensitive as frick. Went away on its own.

listen you FRICKHEADS, my question isn't whether or not your saggy boobjob breasts can fricking go away, its that even if the gynecomastia itself (THE BREAST TISSUE FORMATION) went away, wouldn't the CAUSE (HORMONAL IMBALANCE CAUSING FAT TO BE STORED IN YOUR BREASTS) still fricking remain?

I gave you a serious answer if it's fat it can go away if it's cysts in your glandular tissue it cannot. If there's any part of it that's firm that's probably a cyst. The leaner you get the more visible it will become. It sits on top of the muscle so even building your chest will not minimize it's appearance.

I had gyno for a year at the end of puberty, it went away almost overnight.

Generally no, people end up taking meds to try to correct the imbalance and surgery to deal with the rest. Assuming the initial cause isn't too bad the fact that it's there can sometimes not matter much with proper management.

it usually only happens during puberty, so it wont regrow, but the breast tissue will never go away on its own
    t. mild actual gyno
