Yeah absolutely
Legs
This one's a bit better. Basically my motivation is I want to be healthy also getting laid would be nice
pullups
Nope. You gotta lift heavy because pushywushys won't cut it. I fell for the calisthenics meme and never looked super fit. Now that I lift my veins all bulge and I have some definition showing up.
What do you consider lifting then? Bench press?
Chest/tri: bench press, tricep pushdown, incline dumbbell press
Shoulders: spam dumbbell shrugs
Bicep: dumbbell curls, standing dumbbell press, crucifix curls
Legs: leg press, calf press, leg raises, squats
Back: pull-downs and cable rows until you can add pullups to the mix
also this. bodyweights are a meme. get a gym membership and try to eat 1g of protein for every pound you weigh. use Chronometer to keep track of these things.
separate these body groups and do 3 sets of 10 reps of each of these, plus a 4th set till failure. Increase the weight as much as you can while maintaining form each week. 2 rest days a week.
separate as in each group per day, not all in the same day if that wasn't obvious
Should I continue running everyday? And that's a shit load of protein lol. Will eggs and chicken do?
if you want to "get ripped" you have to eat a lot of protein, buy some protein powder and start mealprepping rice and chicken/beef. If you skimp on this step you won't make it- diet is the most important part. Keep doing cardio, it'll keep your heart healthy and increase appetite.
No.
Keep in mind that an egg is only about 6g of protein. You're gonna want to buy some protein powder and bulk meat. Do you have a costco membership? They have cheap protein powder, cheap rotisserie chicken, plus their pizza has a shit ton of protein.
is right, most people don't eat properly and give up when they don't see results. Eat 1g protein for each pound you weigh.
here's what I ate today minus fruits and veggies which I eat intuitively. Not that hard.
How big an omelet we talking about anon?
6 eggs minimum
I didn't do what you intend to do, but I did start lifting weights and I bulked up significantly. Started at about the same build you have now.
no. consume 150g of protein a day, 2500 calories a day, and do some proper weightlifting. get a planet fitness membership. you're gonna make it skelebro, but not the way you're describing.
inb4 op gets scared of having to actually eat a lot of food and quits
Just start lifting weights.
Push-ups are great, but you’ll soon find yourself needing to do 100+ just to feel the burn
OP ran away from this thread when he realized he has to lift and that 3 eggs and a chicken breast aren't enough protein lmao
Define ripped?
Running will only give you cardio vascular gains and some calorie expenditure to help you lose weight.
Pushups do frick all for chest development.
Basically your physique will just become super lean if you keep that at a deficit, with no muscle at all except maybe an ever so slightly developed chest. You will get a 'runner's physique'.
If you want to be lean with muscle mass you need to lift weights and build some muscle at a surplus first. Read the sticky.
Op here. I want to go for David goggins build. So yall are saying I have to gorge myself with protien to get that way and life religiously? You can't do that by just let's say... eating 2500 calories a day ( let's say alot these calories are eggs and chicken and carbs), and doing calisthenics? Going to be honest guys I'm really not a fan of the bench press. I want to aim for longevity and I don't think it's good for joints long term
NGMI
have a nice day, Black person
Just buy a pull up bar and some rings then homosexual
OP truly ran away crying because he was told to eat more than 20g of protein a day. NGMI
Didn't run away I just go to bed early wake up early
No. Add squats, pull ups, push-ups and their progressions.
No. You need protein. I suggest brazil nuts (raw) 2 cups
Do it for 1 year and post results
Godspeed
