If you're planning in case if you have to fight someone on the street, sure, one proper right cross and most people will go down,if you're planning on competing at some point no,not really.

I used to, not anymore though. Still am hyper alert in public. Would like to have some fighting skills so I can calm the f down and not be so on edge.
But I don’t wanna go somewhere to learn it, I usually learn skills (cooking, lifting, math) from watching youtube.

if you want to have a solid foundation on the basics,in terms of wrestling or anything outside of striking you'll need either a sandbag or a person to simulate proper technique.

If you wanna avoid getting mugged, learn to run, not fight. You'll just get stabbed or shot by a Black person if you try stupid shit. From potential threats in the street just escape and avoid shitty places at bad times.
Being muscular can help for intimidation but even my huge ass rugby player friend got mugged by Black folk with knives and now has a scar in his face from thinking strength means shit when facing weapons.

Then carry a weapon. You can't learn how to actually fight without fighting.
Your best bet is pepper spray and knife or just run away.

Lol if you don't actually spar with a person you'll probably miss. The average LARPer has no idea how hard it is actually hit someone who is moving around and punching back at you.

The trick is you get in the first punch.

Most definitely. Before I joined my wrestling team I studied BJJ intensively due to me being a grappling autist who absolutely despises striking. It's gross and stupid and dumb I hate striking. Anyways, I studied BJJ and won all of my teen without even throwing a punch. When I joined wrestling people thought I had prior experience, but basic BJJ knowledge and size and strength go a long way.
I joined Muay Thai and it was p easy to execute some combos I've learned over the Internet in practice. Also dude why Muay Thai Black folk so easy to take down it genuinely makes me sperg out how fricking easy they are to take down

Fighting isn't about rehersing practiced movements. You can get really good at throwing punches and kicks in your basement but as soon as you get into a real fight your arms and legs will turn into noodles and you're gonna start flailing like a moron.
Martial arts are about stress testing yourself until you can keep composure even while getting punched in the face and only then will your practiced punches kick in.

Not true. If you have enough confidence (delusion) in your technique you'll be pretty alright.
I've executed some of my favorite YouTube learned grappling techniques on untrained people in the past. I've also rolled with BJJ practitioners and have been pretty successful, though.i weigh more and now have wrestling experience

1-51. pay attention, don't use sound-isolating headphones, stay out of bad areas. You don't need to fight if you avoid fights. This option also works if you're with a girl.
    52. train to sprint. ask youtube about "feed the cats". You can't do this in your house without a good treadmill, ihttps://voca.ro/14P7mb1M2dUu
but you don't need a lot of space or time or equipment, you can make it work even if you live on a shit-covered hill in San Francisco.
    53. shadow box, box, play Switch Boxing. Swing a wooden sword. This is silly stuff that you'll enjoy, that'll help you to an extent, and that won't give you so much confidence that you'll seek fights.
    54. rich? Set up a boxing gym in your house, invite instructors over, have your thugs kidnap hobos and force them to fight you to earn some money and their freedom.
