              You cant ego lift a squat. Unlike a deadlift, you cannot use bad form to lift it up unless you cant even control your knees. Your whole body has to be strong, not just the leg press motion.

                Feeling the contraction and actually feeling the lift target the muscles you're trying to develop is actually just bs to teach not to cheat form lmao, you're delusional. You can easily have good form, properly angle, arch and do shit right on bench or any lift but if you're not taking into account your own biomechanics, not getting the correct drive and ultimately not feeling the contraction then it can mean fuck all, same for any lift, there are more efficacious lifts depending on your response to them and your own individual form needs, this isn't about "cheating" you retard. Klokov is going to adjust his snatch individually to himself, differently from someone like Lu. What feels the best in getting that contraction matters the most. For reference I use to do strength training like everyone on this board, got up to 1/2/3/4 for reps but found much better results by incorporating lifts that fit my needs better.

                You can very fucking easily ego lift squat, the amount of rounding of the back, half repping and all around bullshit I've seen from retards squatting is astounding.

                If anything the inverse has been shown time and again, those that focus on hypertrophy can better apply themselves to strength than those coming from strength can apply themselves to hypertrophy. But regardless of that it really doesn't matter what you increase or don't, the thing that ultimately matters the most is progressive overload, building your body and muscle, I don't give a shit if leg press doesn't equate to lifting more on squats but the inverse does, I care about shaping my body.

                I'm not just training for muh aesthetics, nor are magic lifts like squat really as godly in developing your entire body as you claim. Nevermind the fact that I account for building my entire lower and upper body, you think I'm doing leg press but not thinking about how to hit my glutes better by doing hip thrusts, or getting my hams in through leg curls or back through deads.

    I have a home gym with a good bar and no squat rack (cause I’m poor lol) so I only do front squats. They are great for leg development and feel better imo. They are way more on your hips, quads, abs, traps, and shoulders if you hold them with a full grip on the bar. Biggest downside they don’t seem to hit my butt as much even though I bottom out atg. I do more stiff leg dl to hit my posterior chain now.

    I do both front squat and back squat on mon, wed, and fri. 5x5 for back, 3x5 for front. Then weighted calisthenics on sun and tues.
    Along with that i work full time and also stream for 8 hours per week.
    I basically have no friends tho so please disregard my comment
