      Oh nevermind didn't actually look at picture. She's too poor for actual lifting shoes so she's using the plate to replace the heel. People with shit flexibility do this to cope instead of actually fixing their shit body, or because the internet told them to do it

    Look at the angle of her feet, she is using them to raise her heels. I have wooden sole weight lifting shoes and they have a 2 inch lift in the back because it helps with mobility, basically it makes it easier to get low and maintain balance, people come onto their toes a lot with squats and it fricks your knees.

      Not at all. You could always work on ankle mobility but there's nothing wrong with doing something to help form.

    I once saw a guy standing completely on plates like for deficit deadlifts. But he was doing RDLs off the rack. Which never touch the ground. He just moved the whole system up a few inches for no reason.
