There's thousands of calorie calculators online. Find one, put in your weight and daily exercise, it will tell you how much to eat. From then on keep track of your calories, maybe use an app. If you are losing wright, keep going. If you aren't, eat even less. Also, keep lifting throughout so you don't lose muscle

When I was 18 and clueless I used a book by Pierre Dukan. It worked well.
But my advice is to do what that anon say. Fad diets don't really teach you how to eat well.

Just don't eat less that 1200 calories a day and eat your protein, healthy carbs will help you keep your energy levels too. 1500 while working out is perfectly doable and you will lose weight fast.

there are no good books about weight loss. They are all over priced cookbooks. Everything you need to know can fit on one cue card.
