don't round your back
glad i could help
how
just hinge your hips and learn to brace
people confuse neutral spine vs arched spine, when you brace for squats and deadlifts you shove your ribs down which is slightly rounded compared to arched
issue isn't rounding to some degree so much as it is keeping a stable position throughout the lift
Kinda this. Lifting heavy results in a natural rounding. It’s not that you’re forcing the back to round, it’s the weight being so heavy that it FORCES you to round. Then ideally you have strong enough core and back muscles to prevent that force from damaging your spine. By “core and back” I mean the kind of strength you BUILD from lifting and carrying heavy shit. The carrying part is extremely important and develops things that most programs don’t focus on. Do you single arm farmers walks to develop the QL, MF, and back/core stabilizers. Increase your strength and thank yourself later in life.
heavy sandbag or stone bear hug carries are an underrated exercise. nothing builds a solid core like hugging a bw+ odd object for time
1.) wear a belt and learn to brace against it
2.) pack your shoulders and engage your lats, if it feels like you're squeezing the way you do for a lat pullover you're probably doing it right
3.) if you're a lanklet with disgustingly long legs like yours truly try doing it with a trap bar
hope this helps anon my deadlifts are still dog shit but i went from going to snap city with light as frick weight weight to successfully thriving with only SLIGHTLY less than respectable amounts of weight
This misses a pee stain under her
Tell artists we demand the pee
Why do you have this saved on your computer?
Because the person who posted it when I downloaded it got asked this
Whoever says they don't have a back that's at least slightly round when deadlifting close to failure is lying. As long as you keep your back rigid and stable during the movement it's ok.
Push your stomach between your thighs, worked for me
Round your back. Straight back is a meme not supported by science.
I fricking like be deadlifting bros
never focus on arching your back.
instead focus on bracing your core hard.
if you notice your back rounding to get the weight off the floor, let it stay on the floor.
misconception is that people often think their back is weak when it rounds, while it is in fact the opposite: their legs and ass are weak, so the back rounds to decrease the load on the legs/ass. powerlifters with massive spinal erectors round their back to decrease the load on their legs, but then they have to use their massive back muscles to straighten the back out again after the weight has passed the knees.
mirin lateral delts so joosy it almost looks pointly
>so the back rounds to decrease the load on the legs/ass
SQUATS+OATS will fix this
are sumo romanian deadlifts good for a beginner to learn? or should i just do regular romanian?
> artist draws sumo instead of real DL
Chicks who do standard Deadlifts are automatically more attractive to me.
what's the issue with sumo deadlifts? aren't they working the same muscles?
If Cammy is (Sumo) Deadlift Queen, and Chun Li is Squat Queen, then who is Bench Queen?
