>carbs make you fat
Why do morons believe this? Eating more calories than you consume makes you fat, a fricking macronutrient does not summon magical energy from the ether to make you fat. If you ear 1000 calories a day from 100% carbs you will lose fat unless you are a comatose dwarf or something.
The fat you eat is the fat you wear
try getting fat on 2000kcal of rabbit meat for the next 90 days, you fricking brainlet.
You won't BECAUSE it doesn't have fat
try getting fat on 2000kcal of apples for the next 90 days, you fricking brainlet.
try getting fat on only 2000 calories of pure sugar you brainlet moron
no thanks, i don't hate my liver
You could get fatter(as in have more fat % in body not weight more) on it depending on your body composition and how you eat this sugar (time wise).
it is much harder to restrict calorie intake when eating large amounts of carbs compared to protein and fats.
Fat is twice as calorie dense fool
Maybe but proteins and fats have an accelerative effect on you metabolism BUFFOON
carbs arent as satiating as fat and protein so you tend to eat more.
?
>self reported
for me potatoes aren't as filling as beef brisket, what now?
per calorie? are you sure? have you measured?
yup
Literally the complete opposite of reality.
You guys underestimate the power of fiber to keep you full, my cut has been much easier since incorporating more fruit and veggies
When you over eat on carbs, what kind of fat does your body make them into?
Mono, poly, saturated?
saturated
Never reply nor argue with ketolards. It's a cult. They are basically the flat earthers of the current internet. Literal morons. On this board there's a few keto cultists that have no life and post keto cultist shit and their anti-cico grift nonstop.
>Why do morons believe this
another convenient scapegoat for seed oils
>why do morons believe this?
Because the easiest thing to cut from your diet is refined carbohydrates like pasta, bread, and white rice. They weren't going to eat things like bananas and porridge anyways and every potato that passes their lips is going to be fried. So the easiest and most successful diet advice to give morons is to avoid carbs and just hope and pray they don't do some turbo moron shit like eat sticks of butter plain. Mystery solved.
The body is a complex system and its functions cant be explained by a single variable like caloric intake
Different macros can affect your hormones and metabolism differently. See leptin, insulin and so on.
you eat mass not calories. calories arent real. theyre a construct by vaporizing foodstuff in a bomb calorimeter completely unlike human digestion.
Based. Do you have any schizo youtube videos I could watch to learn more?
Depriving the body of carbs makes it prioritize fat for energy.
You have fat stored in your body.
If you burn through the “calories” in your blood you’ve taken in through eating when you’re fat adapted, your body just grabs more energy from your fat stores without skipping a beat.
If you primarily get energy from carbs, your body will expect carbs and wait for more carbs for at least some time before it switches to fat reserves.
That’s why if you do a heavy workout on a carb heavy diet and run through your stored energy, you hit the wall and get tired. When you’re running on fat, you just keep going.
The same logic applies to fasting, you can get the same effect from OMAD without having to actually eat a keto diet
Consider that a slice of bread has the same amount of calories as a serving of chicken breasts. Consider that you have probably never eaten just 1 serving of pasta in your life because you could hold twice that amount in the palm of your hand very comfortably. Carbs don't satisfy you like protein. You will feel more full on 160 calories of eggs (2 eggs) than on 800 calories of air popped popcorn.
>be me
>need to lose fifty pounds
>try keto and make little progress
>constantly hungry and very quickly burn out on cheese
>go "pure" carnivore, just beef, salt, and water (zero alcohol or coffee) for six months
>post on forums after a month and point out lack of weight loss
>"it's okay anon, your body is just healing"
>utterly bewildered because eating sub-2000 calories a day in ribeye and ground beef but no changes to body composition or weight
>eventually at the six month mark my body completely rejects a cut of steak I had to force myself to eat
>vomit everywhere
>don't eat for three days
>include fermented foods, mushrooms, sourdough bread, wakame salads, and miso paste into diet, in addition to the odd of chicken or pork
>I've lost my fifty pounds and to this day I can't stand the smell of beef
thanks for coming to my ted talk
You have to eat much less than 2000 calories AND exercise to lose weight you dumb shit. Also everyone is different and responds differently to different kinds of food, both psychologically and physically. Youre all the same special kind of idiot arguing about this though.
>Also everyone is different and responds differently to different kinds of food, both psychologically and physically.
I know for a fact that you're incredibly autistic, or a troony, or both.
>You have to eat much less than 2000 calories AND exercise to lose weight
is this board entirely comprised of manlets? If an average guy does this he'll put on 0 muscle and go skelly, starvation mode
>is this board entirely comprised of manlets?
Nine out of ten people here are either second generation Hispanics or are turbo manlet Midwesterners of southern German descent. The former doesn't actually lift and the latter have perpetual gaping buttholes from being born under 5'8"
Sorry mate, it's all pajeets on here now
He's actually cute. Would.
Basically this. Extreme restriction diets inevitably lead to burn out and failure. Sustainability is key to successful dieting.
thanks jeff cavalier
Don’t forget to include face pulls in your routine
Carbs are stored as subcutaneous fat if they arent burned, and they do not help with the formation of muscle like protein does. Its easy to understand if youre not a fricking moronic child like most of you on this board.
>if they arent burned
Ketotrannies confirmed couch potatoes because this entire argument against carbohydrates hinges upon calories not being used
CICO is for morons
How come i notice i lose fat easily if i eat clean but when i include something remotely “unclean” (like coffee creamer, cow milk,) to diet i notice that weight loss stagnates ?
CICO is flawed
"Unclean" foods are more calorie dense than "clean" foods.
Why is this so complicated?
Coffee creamer has like 10 calories moron
>what does the liver produce and why
You should behead yourself in a wheat thresher, my gay.
>Eating more calories than you consume makes you fat
I eat between 2500 and 3000kcal of meat per day and I'm mostly sedentary. Calculators say I should be burning 2375 a day for my activity level. I am not gaining weight and am in fact losing about 1lb per week.
How do CICO normies explain this?
They can't
These low iq slobs think eating 2000 cal of sugar and vegetable oil will result in weight loss as long as it's below maintenance (implying said maintenance or the energy in food can even be calculated with accuracy)
Water weight
Frick off bill gates, nobody wants to buy the filth you grow on your "farms". You should have blown your brains out after windows 3.1. homosexual nerd.
How did you know it was me?
It’s because carb sources these days tend to be empty processed calories. Plain boiled potatoes are unironcally one of the best cutting foods. Even white rice is tough to overeat unless you put lots of oil/fat on it. But heavily processed carbs do make you fat, giving rise to the idea carbs make you fat
>eat energy if you want energy
>eat muscle if you want to gain more muscle
>eat fat if you want to gain more fat
it's so fricking simple
fat is energy thoughever
>fat is energy thoughever
My theory is that protein makes you fat, not carbs or fat. I have been bulking on Oreos, potato chips, ramen, and Mountain Dew for 3 days and haven't gained a single pound. I also feel healthier.
simple carbs frick your insulin balance and make you overeat. How many thin people do you know that eat nothing but cake and pasta?
Potatoes are one of the most insulinogenic foods, with the highest GI of almost anything but are consistently scored as one of the most satiating foods
>do OMAD, always see GOMAD around and assume it's some kind of variation
>actually look it up
wtf bros
stop
ah frickin hell wrong thread, fr*gposts all look alike
