>carbs make you fat

>carbs make you fat
Why do morons believe this? Eating more calories than you consume makes you fat, a fricking macronutrient does not summon magical energy from the ether to make you fat. If you ear 1000 calories a day from 100% carbs you will lose fat unless you are a comatose dwarf or something.

Because the easiest thing to cut from your diet is refined carbohydrates like pasta, bread, and white rice. They weren't going to eat things like bananas and porridge anyways and every potato that passes their lips is going to be fried. So the easiest and most successful diet advice to give morons is to avoid carbs and just hope and pray they don't do some turbo moron shit like eat sticks of butter plain. Mystery solved.

The body is a complex system and its functions cant be explained by a single variable like caloric intake

Different macros can affect your hormones and metabolism differently. See leptin, insulin and so on.

Depriving the body of carbs makes it prioritize fat for energy.
You have fat stored in your body.
If you burn through the “calories” in your blood you’ve taken in through eating when you’re fat adapted, your body just grabs more energy from your fat stores without skipping a beat.
If you primarily get energy from carbs, your body will expect carbs and wait for more carbs for at least some time before it switches to fat reserves.
That’s why if you do a heavy workout on a carb heavy diet and run through your stored energy, you hit the wall and get tired. When you’re running on fat, you just keep going.
The same logic applies to fasting, you can get the same effect from OMAD without having to actually eat a keto diet

Consider that a slice of bread has the same amount of calories as a serving of chicken breasts. Consider that you have probably never eaten just 1 serving of pasta in your life because you could hold twice that amount in the palm of your hand very comfortably. Carbs don't satisfy you like protein. You will feel more full on 160 calories of eggs (2 eggs) than on 800 calories of air popped popcorn.

You have to eat much less than 2000 calories AND exercise to lose weight you dumb shit. Also everyone is different and responds differently to different kinds of food, both psychologically and physically. Youre all the same special kind of idiot arguing about this though.

    CICO is for morons
How come i notice i lose fat easily if i eat clean but when i include something remotely “unclean” (like coffee creamer, cow milk,) to diet i notice that weight loss stagnates ?

I eat between 2500 and 3000kcal of meat per day and I'm mostly sedentary. Calculators say I should be burning 2375 a day for my activity level. I am not gaining weight and am in fact losing about 1lb per week.

      They can't

It’s because carb sources these days tend to be empty processed calories. Plain boiled potatoes are unironcally one of the best cutting foods. Even white rice is tough to overeat unless you put lots of oil/fat on it. But heavily processed carbs do make you fat, giving rise to the idea carbs make you fat
