What's the point of supplementing this stuff anyway? You get the same amount of carnitine from a 500mg pill as 4oz of beef once you account for bioavailability. Unless you're consuming >2g of carnitine from a supplement per day I don't see why you need to take this stuff tbh

Yeah I already know about the androgen receptor thing but can't you just eat more red meat? If you're already eating 8-16oz of red meat per day then I suppose you can justify supplementing carnitine since you can't just eat more meat without putting yourself into a big caloric surplus (unless you're a massive guy who has a TDEE above 4000 calories lol)
