I've been doing calisthenics for about a year but I find it really hard to gain weight
I've been trying to gain weight for the last month or two, upping the weights on my exercises and eating as much as I possibly can, but inflation is making it pretty hard to eat high-quality proteins.
What are you doing to bulk up? What works best, especially with high-frequency training?
Thanks a bunch!
Yogurt
You will probably get better answers, but I just buy a bunch of rice, pasta, milk and eggs and some other variations like yogurt and things like that.
I'm lazy as frick to cook and I also don't like spending too much on fancy foods, so I just cook a bunch of rice, boil some eggs, and eat that. You can add mayonese and other things to add some flavor variation.
I put some milk/yogurt with some bananas and oats into the blender and that is good protein, easy to make, easy to consume and it contains a bunch of calories
I don't get bored or tired of eating always the same things, so you might have to get a bit more creative if that is problem for you, but you can start with some very basic foods, cheap to buy in large quantities and figure out how to add some variation later on
>rice, pasta, milk and eggs and some other variations like yogurt
Doesn't this require eating like 6 times per day? how many eggs do you eat per day?
5 to 8
5-8 eggs, or meals per day?
Eggs per day
Eggs and chicken for protons
Rice and potatoes for carbons
Cook in olive oil or coconut oil for fats
Just eat more in general
Not that dude but no, you don't, I eat two massive meals a day and I'm alright (would be easier to split into 3 big meals tho)
No, it doesn't. I do it like
said, but most of the time I split it into 3 big meals, sometimes I skip one and have 2 big meals instead.
I eat 6 eggs per day generally speaking. The rest of my protein comes from other sources like diary products and some chicken or I just eat a tuna can if I feel like I didn't get enough protein from my meals
Well, I probably don't care about whatever it is you wrote, but I sure want to FRICK that girl in your image.

GOMAD
Seriously, if you want to gain weight cheaply, GOMAD is the way to do it (assuming you can digest milk properly).
In the UK, 6 pints is £2.20 from Asda.
That contains:
125g fat
159g carbs
119g protein
2,244 kcal
Too much fat? Go semi-skimmed. Same price -
61g fat
163g carbs
122g protein
1,700kcal
Eat normally but try to finish off 2-3 litres of milk a day too.
what is gomad?
nvm i looked it up... alright i can try to drink more milk atleast. isn't that shit terrbile for you in the long run though??
It's when you go crazy dwed
>doing calisthenics
There’s your problem right there
(Btw I fricked her)
I don't have money for the gym or fancy equipment, so calisthenics is my best option right now. I do fill up my backpack with some old dumbells I had.
It's okay anon, don't mind the trolls. I have a couple of friends that achieved really good results with calisthenics, and very limited equipment. You just have to learn to make the most out of what you have.
The fact that you put in the effort and don't just give up because you can't afford a gym membership is based
Thank you bro. I'lll think of you during my last reps today.
Tomboy Pussy!!!!!
rice and beans is pretty good, about 500gr of dry beans plus 270gr of rice has something like 130gr of complete protein, and all under 2000 kcal (more or less). super cheap, a frickton of food and can be made super tasty. unless you have a gut problem, it's pretty good
