      Basically all vegan protein sources are (pick one or more):

      >1. Calorie dense so it looks like there's a lot of protein when it's really not, there's just a lot of calories generally (peanuts)
      >2. Use dry weights to exaggerate protein per 100g when you'd damn well add 2-4 times the weight in water and other stuff to make the food palatable.
      >3. So incredibly not-calorie dense you'd need to eat like 5 lbs of the thing to get meaningful amounts of protein (broccoli)
