Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Has anyone here dealt with this?

I've had it for about 15-20 years now. What happens is that every time I exercise, I get a huge amount of lactic acid released, which causes extreme fatigue and a sensation that I'm burning up from the inside out. Sore throat, fever etc often accompanies as well.

I wonder if there is anything I can do.

Apparently this has become quite common now after the C19 "vaxx" rollout (I myself is a pure blood, though).

I have tried this when going tent camping. It may have helped a little bit, but not much. I was still getting symptoms after a few hours of walking every day.

      Have you tried thyroid hormone?

I have tried T4 (Levothyroxine) in the past. Can't remember if it helped. From doing blood tests, it seems that my thyroid hormones are within range (although my TSH is on the higher end, around 2). Do you suggest I try it again?

I love it. My thyroid labs looked fine but I had so many symptoms of hypothyroid. Since starting it I feel a lot better, I had horribly low blood pressure that caused fainting spells when standing. Brought my bp up to normal now.

I had a desk job and felt this way. I quit and got a job at a sawmill working 4 10hr days instead of 5 8hr days and I have much more energy oddly. Energy as in drive to do stuff. I fall asleep at like =pm on week days but even after I get home I have it in me to clean or read for an hour. If you're doing boring stagnant soul sucking shit then that'll sap you big Time.

Thats interesting. Did you ever have "PEM" (post exercise malaise) as well?
      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post-exertional_malaise

I've had ME for 25 years. At times I've been able to work, lift, and have a generally OK life, I've also gone through periods of being completely housebound for several years at a time.

My best guess is that it's some form of central sensitisation, primed by a severe viral infection, illness, or physical breakdown, which causes the immune and metabolic systems to hyper-respond to any physical and / or mental stress.

Best advice I can give is to work on maintaining good posture, joint mobility and your weight. When you exercise, avoid going into the lactic zone and set yourself realistic goals, ie making zero gains but being moderately active and in good health.

Yeah, sounds like me pretty much. I am much better today than I was years ago, after doing several lifestyle changes:
      1. More sunlight (I now live near the equator and try to get 10k IU Vitamin D3 from the sun every day.
      2. Avoiding mold and chemicals
      3. Avoiding radiation (my house is fully wired, no Wifi) and dirty electricity
      4. Keto/Carnivore diet with occasional fasting

I am still not able to exercise in such I way that I can build muscle, however. But I am usually able to walk pretty far (this also depends where I am walking - if I walk in pristine nature, I can go on for a long time - if I walk in a dirty city, then I usually crash pretty fast).

Do you recommend a heart rate monitor? So I can make sure to stay outside the lactic zone. Only worry is that they all seem to transmit a bunch of EMF.

yeah get in touch with a doctor instead of morons online who can only guess and have no idea what they are talking about

Ive been to dozens of Doctors in my life. I stopped visiting them a decade ago though, because all they do is make your problems worse. I trust anon here a lot more.

Sometimes its to do with food intolerances like dairy and wheat and your immune system is overreacting to that and making you tired. Try an exclusion diet for a month and see if it helps. You can get help from a dietitian or gastroenterologist, it could change your life

Ive tried that. I did carnivore for 18 months in a row once. I think it may have helped, although I didnt actually exercise much if anything while I was doing it. Im thinking if I should try it again.

Sounds like you're well on the right track, anon. I prefer to autoregulate my exercise session as I get too competitive when monitoring my heart rate. I haven't looked into their EMF output but it's worth you trying one out for a while and see how you get on, especially if you can borrow one from a friend.

          > I get too competitive
This is why I haven't gone to the gym regularly for almost a decade now. I start going and then I want to actually do real work there and I end up crashing/getting ill. It's hard to say "Ill just do 5 pushups today, and maybe in a few weeks I can bump that up to 10". It's demoralizing.

It's tough. I tend to stick with calisthenics for strength.
Set 1 - Stop after the first hard rep.
            Set 2 - 70% of Set 1
Set 3 - Only easy reps. 0 if failed set 2

If black mold, scrub clean with diluted bleach. Keep room well ventilated and minimise moisture levels. That worked for me and it hasn't returned in 3-4 years.

I don’t know what kind of mold it is. My dad told me that is just from the moisture because there are some pipes that lose some water. By the way the pic is kinda old I scrubbed the ready to fall stuff that are on the wall.

                [...]
You can clean the mold away, sure. But it won't fix anything. The problem is not the mold, but the mycotoxins it produces (Aflatoxin, Aspergillus, Penicillium citrinum etc).

Putting bleach on mold makes it release hundreds of times as many toxins. These toxins then stay in the walls, flooring, furniture etc. They cannot be cleaned.

If you're gonna do this, you have to remove all your furniture and porous items before cleaning. Then, you have to run an Ozone machine for 24 hours while you vacate the house. Also wear proper equipment (gas mask etc) when cleaning the mold.

Cancer treatment in 2019 and I couldn't walk 50 meters without having to sit down. Went to therapists but they tried to show me how to "live with it". Went to online forums which were filled with lazy white roasties that could afford to have this problem. They acted like bucket crabs.
So one day I just bought a gym membership (after ego death on 50g fresh shrooms) and got on an elliptical. I worked out until I couldn't, and then some more. My vision went dark and it was fricking awful.
Slowly I made it from 100 meters to 1km at a decently high resistance.
Now I am normal again. I went hiking 2021 where I carried a 20kg backpack over 20km in one day, in pouring rain on a rocky terrain. I'm 29 now and in best shape of my life despite having exercise induced asthma and despite not being able to feel parts of my hands, both caused by cancer treatment.

Yes, sunshine is best cure, also breathing full breaths through nose, and taking daily walks also magnesium pills every couple days, vitamin d and k, zinc and copper, and drinking lots of water, avoid milk and sugar, its inflammation and autoimmune so starve it of sugars and stick to high protein, fats from meat and olive oil or avocado only, no corn oil or corn syrup, spend at least half hour direct sun each day shirt off preferred, early morning in summer so no burn, also lift light weights many reps to train muscles to put out more energy

I feel tired when I wake up 90% of the time. Sometimes I feel like somebody beat me up in my sleep when I wake up kek.
I eat well, get a lot of sleep, very active most days, got a job where I do a lot of thinking and problem solving and move around half of the time. Did blood tests, piss tests, scans, etc. Thyroid is fine, liver is fine, heart is fine, bloodwork is almost perfect, and so on. High tolerance towards stimulants, but I avoid them.
On paper nothing is wrong with me, but I feel tired and lazy a lot of the time unless I focus on doing something, like working out, sex or writing a paper (then my mind becomes laser sharp and I ignore all of the fatigue). Less than 7 hours of sleep and my eyes feel dry, sore all over my body, stiff as hell.
Noticed that I don't get spontaneous erections as often as I used to.
I'm only 25 too, and it's been like that since high school.
So I don't even understand what the source of the problem might be.

You probably have arthritis. Do your hands ever get red on the palms or feel pain when your twist a screwdriver or something? At your age the fatigue and stiffness may be the only symptom but it's there. Start stretching first thing when you wake up. Arthritis is a serious b***h. Lifelong struggle
