Finasteride completely ruined my life. Started to go bald at 30. Googled ways of reversing balding. Finasteride recommended. Asked my dermatologist if he thinks it's okay for me to try it. He says sure, that Trump is on it, and gave me a prescription. Looked up the side effects first and knew that 5% (supposedly) of men get erectile dysfunction, but not to worry because it clears up in about a month if you stop taking it. Wasn't too worried because I've never had problems with erectile dysfunction and thought "Eh. I probably won't be in the 5%. And if I am, all I have to do is stop taking it and I'll be fine." Started taking it. Sex drive actually soared through the roof. I've never been hornier. I felt ecstatic because it was giving me the exact opposite of erectile dysfunction. Then I woke up one morning about 5 weeks after being on Finasteride and I had almost zero blood blow to my genitals. My penis was shriveled up to half it's length and girth, was cold to the touch, and overall felt traumatized. Likewise, my balls shrank and were tucked in super close to my body. It was as if I just got kicked in the balls and then thrown into ice water. It was the most uncomfortable I've ever felt. Almost immediately became suicidal. Immediately stopped taking Finasteride. Waited a month to get better. Didn't. Waited another month. Still fricked with 0 change. Waited another month. Still fricked. Panicked. Finally went to family doctor. Didn't go earlier because I was embarrassed (beyond stupid). Referred me to a urologist. Called urologist. I have to wait 3 months to see him. And so 6 months of zero medical help. When I finally see him, he's never heard of this happening before. Doesn't know what to do, so gives me a prescription for Viagra and sends me on my way. Viagra barely does anything. Panic more. Seek out other highly rated urologists in my area. Have to wait months to see them. They've also never heard of this and don't know what to do.

Gave me more prescriptions for Viagra and Cialis - which still barely help. One urologist basically accused me of being a hypochondriac and referred me to a sex therapist because he thought it was all in my head because my dick and balls were still within normal range. Not to brag, but my original dick and ball size was above normal, and so my dick and balls still being within normal range doesn't mean that I'm making up what happened to me because I know what my own body was like before I took Finasteride. Since the urologists in my area weren't of any help, I had to do my own research online. The most comprehensive study on Post Finasteride Syndrome that I could find concluded that it seems to be more common for lower does for whatever reason and men with histories of mental illnesses like depression and anxiety seem to be more susceptible, but didn't really offer any solid solutions besides neuro steroids - which I'm personally not ready to try because I'm worried that they'll frick me up. I know the smartasses will jump on the link to mental illness and cite that as proof that everyone claiming to have Post Finasteride Syndrome is making it up, but I'm really not. Even though I am super fricked up psychologically, I'm not imagining what happened to me. And so my advice is to be very, very careful when making the decision to take Finasteride if you have psychological issues. And if you make the decision to take Finasteride anyway and experience erectile dysfunction, don't make the same mistake that I did and simply wait for your dick to get better. You need to return blood flow back to your peen immediately by taking generic Cialis and using a penis pump for a few minutes every day. If you don't, you'll do permanent damage to your dick.
Getting on trt will fix you
I've had my testosterone levels checked 3 times. They varied wildly from around 400 to around 900 within a single week. But my estradiol levels were always slightly below normal in all 3 blood tests. Tried to figure out why from an endocrinologist, but they weren't willing to see me despite having a doctor's referral. And I still haven't gotten around to figuring out if my endocrine system and hormones are healthy because I've been overwhelmed by other chronic health issues. For example, I got double jaw surgery recently - which was absolutely awful. I'm also worried about TRT because I have chronic acne issues.
Do NOT use a pump. It literally destroys your dick. If you have priapism you need an adrenalin shot or whatever the frick docs use to treat it. If you wait until your dick is borderline necrotic it's kind of late.
If you can't go to the doc right away for whatever reason (lol america) then there's probably DIY ways to help restoring bloodflow (vasoconstrictors? massaging?). Do your own research beforehand.
