My smelly valentine
Raw garlic and carrots
Yup. Can't eat meals on dates, can't eat when drinking alcohol, need to shit 3 times dialy atleast, ass fissurrs cos always wiping.
I avoid too much fat and fibre as both make me shit. Meat, potatoes and abit of veg works best for me, and nothing im excess.
>raw garlic
Ignore this man.
I'm type 7.
A girl told me she fingers herself and pushes her poop out by easing/nudging jt through the veganal/anal wall.
>A girl told me she fingers herself and pushes her poop out by easing/nudging jt through the veganal/anal wall.
fugging hell thats gonna develop into a scat fetish given enough time
I dunno. Ask Ian Johma. He keeps shitting xerself apparently.
IBS has nothing to do with large or small intestine but with gut microbiome
Eat wide variety of food, especially kefir helps with "IBS", cut out vegetable oils, fast food, cheap sugars or bread and supplement your diet with probiotics
Also do fast 1 day out of a week and omega 3 rich foods
>cut out vegetable oils, fast food, cheap sugars or bread and supplement your diet with probiotics
none of this worked for me
t. permanently stuck at type 1
Have you ever had where it blocks your butthole and won't physically come out, and you have to put on a glove and put a finger in your ass and break up/pull out the hard rocks?
That would be crazy right haha
thankfully that hasn't happened yet
IBS ruining my life I keep having to take days of work.. this sucks please help
I feel u bro, having to live with the fear that I might shit myself on my own wedding
>> daily probiotics
Never ever worked for me, probiotics are extremely overrated.
Try this
1) Betaine HCL
2) Digestive enzymes
3) PepZin aka Zinc carnosine and L glutamine
4) BPC 157 if nothing helped
5) maaaaybe Saccharomyces boulardii (they are technically probiotics but not really)
>technically probiotics
Its a yeast.
beef and water
even works for Crohn's
Be honest, whats your diet like?
Protein focused, around 55-30-15% i avoid milk or anything that can "ferment" and avoid sweets (not fruits or natural )
Got diagnosed by a GI. Turns out I just needed to be more honest about the amount of exercise I do and to a lesser extent the crap food I ate. Instead of 90 minutes of walking I jog for 30 minutes and I'm basically cured with a little caffeine in the morning
>I'm basically cured with a little caffeine in the morning
does it matter what form it is in? would a pill work as well
Eating as little fiber as possible.
Goodbye to grains, hello to solid shits
Shouldn't fibers be good ?
You can eat all that and fiber
It’s fricking awful and sometimes I imagine how great it would be to die so I didn’t have to go through another day like this
>3 years since gut fricked by antibiotics
>4 specialist appointments and $1500 later for them to tell me “nothing we can do”
>have to take loperamide to survive work day
>basically only boiled chicken, corn, quinoa, oats, and certain veggies tolerated
>want to socialize but have to take loperamide when I go out and feel like shit
>can’t sleep because stomach cramps
What helps me is I lay in the bathroom floor laughing and imagine those people who are real beat up and bloody smiling anyways
There are better lives to live, but this one is mine
Why not tried that poop therapy? If you're this far down into the barrel, you have nothing left to lose.
what is poop therapy I get fecal transplant results IF I google that
have you ever got tested for H Pylori?
you may have inflammatory bowel disease and need to find a medicine that works for you.
I just follow a low-fodmap diet.
I think you should try that.
For a few years I smoked weed everyday and it temporarily cured my IBS for 7-8 hours afterwards
But now I take double the recommended dose of magnesium supplements everyday, I've gone from shooting straight liquid out of my ass to normal solid poos, no stomach cramps
Forgetting the most important one,
Fasting. 36h fast once a week, 48-72h once a month for a total of 4 fasts a month. Gives your body ample time to heal.
Forgot one more, for the IBS-C, caffeine 30-120 mins before routined dump.
>Fiber before bed
Found the reason for your IBS
I'm taking oregano oil pills on an empty stomach every morning. I'll let you guys know if that helps fix my IBS
Maybe you'll find some helpful info here

I've been dealing with that shit for years, my first 3 hours of the day are spent on shitting multiple times. What's weird is that I usually have proper big fat turds on my first round, but then need 3-4 more rounds to squeeze out the rest while I feel like I'm constantly constipated. Then throughout the day it varies, often feel cramped and my body can't tell between just cramps/gases and actually needing to shit so I'm constantly worried that I'm about to shit myself. Shit sucks, and ruins any prospect of social or romantic life.
What do you do for work?
>my first 3 hours of the day are spent on shitting multiple times. What's weird is that I usually have proper big fat turds on my first round, but then need 3-4 more rounds to squeeze out the rest while I feel like I'm constantly constipated
Literally me.
I wish i had your issue but instead
>first poop somewhat normal
and after that just like you, 3-4 more rounds but completely liquid, painful.
> Can't even tell if its poop or just a fart, both of them came just as quick and are just as painful as the other.
Weird thing is after the first few hours of my day It returns to completely normal.
I am starting to realise that skipping breakfast helps but its so hard to bulk like this when you skip breakfast and have to eat light before bed.
Im around 88kg (190lbs) and 193cm (6'4) even when i was at the top of my cut (83kg) 18%bf I still had these issues.
Have you tried manuka honey?
the science on it is completely split down the middle, but some studies do show positive benefit.
>be 16 years ago self
>get a piece of bowel transplanted to bladder
>get several massive antibiotic blasts to clean the new 'piece of bladder'
>now have IBS and have to spend half of nights on the toilets shitting the most toxic diarrhea ever
>gets better with time but still frequently get night crisis, almost pass out in pain regularly, especially after big meals
>try dairy free, gluten free, fodmap free etc: no results
>gf gets on a diet, I follow to support her
>lose 10lbs the first weeks: END OF IBS FOR YEARS
I got it back when my waist exceeded a certain circumference again. Since then, I fast a week as soon as I get a few close episodes and it's not really a problem anymore. Are there any thin people with IBS? Organ fat can't be good for this shit.
Given how fasting seems to help so many people, even if only temporarily, I do wonder how much IBS is literally just our guts being overwhelmed with food/body fat surrounding our organs. Although for me, mine started around 10 years ago when I was like 155 lbs at 5’9”, and even though I’ve gained a substanial amount of weight since then, including a period where I was literally obese at 215 lbs, it doesn’t feel like it ever was worse when I was fatter vs skinnier.
I'm not american so don't have it
Me neither
I normally go 1-2 times every morning, 20-30 minutes each time. Then after the first meal of the day I'll have to go again. The amount of time it ends up wasting has ruined my life unironically.
Imodium works for me if I take it just before the first time I go, but I build up a tolerance after a few days of using it.
peppermint pills, and avoiding certain foods. If I've got to go somewhere for a long time and I don't won't a flareup fasting stops them until I eat again.
>fiber before bed
This will make your ibs worse why are you doing this
I have ibd and nowadays i dont even cope anymore, i just accept it whenever i have to shit 5 times a day and see a gallon of blood in my toilet. All the meds that i try stop working after 6 months max and i also try to ignore the fact that eating clean and avoiding everything thats unhealthy didnt even help me one bit. The only thing that keeps me going now is pure spite because i am convinced that the devil, god, the universe or whatever wants me to kill myself because i am simply too powerful and perfect
Anybody else have orthopedic and/or sciatica like issues that feel linked to IBS issues? I’ve had some kind of constipation heavy IBS for almost ten years, but *only on the right side of my body*, with apparent orthopedic/nerve issues also exclusively on my right side. I can’t jog at all anymore or even walk on flat ground for very long or my right ankle feels like it’s going to explode, I have trouble with certain push/pull movements but only on my right side, right arm gets numb/tired while driving, I have some numbness that goes all the way up into my right temple, etc. Left side of my body is totally fine though.
This all feels like it would go away immediately if my bowels were cleared out though, and very rarely, for very brief spans of time, exactly that has happened. Namely, I frequently do 1-2 day fasts, and while it more often than not doesn’t fix things, I occassionally get lucky and my bowels actually fully clear AND all of the tightness, numbness, and other issues on the right side of my body seem to completely or near completely go away. But as soon as I eat anything, no matter what it is or how little or how slowly I start eating again, everything comes back within 2-3 hours. This indicates to me that there MUST be some direct link between my gastrointestinal and orthopedic/neurological issues, and that there has to be some way to fully resolve the former and thus also the latter, but literally nothing other than certain very carefully set up fasting works, and I can’t just fast forever and never eat again.
I'm
and indeed, I have orthopedic issues (no control over some lower limbs muscles) and associated chronic constipation. For me, constipation/overeating + being too fat = guaranteed IBS flare. There also are some links between constipation/IBS and mood issues/depression. I've never felt better than on water fast since childhood mood wise. Keto is a middle ground between eating and fasting. I bet there's also some underlying low level inflamation I should take care of.
fastmaxx + carnivore
stop with the extra fiber, it's a meme
clear the stomach instead of putting more things in it
carni is not the panaceum, but it's an elimination diet
what kind of probiotics do you consume, what drinks do you drink, are you a getting stressed easily?
I don't have IBS (I think) but I've force-fed and dealt with indigestion for the past 15 years or so, it's uncomfortable but completely normal at this point, I don't remember anything else.
