I’ve had a slowly receding hairline since I was 20, losing 5 or 6 hairs every time I shampoo in the shower. Ever since lifting 5 days a week and taking 5g creatine I can tug on my hair and be rough with it and not lose a single hair. I’m 29 now, and I remember the initial fear/stress of going bald actually made me lose hairs that if I wasn’t worried at all night not have happened.

Youre probably just balding. Hop on fin if you want to avoid mpb.

This is literally normal. I've shed hair for over a decade now and my hairline hasn't budged.

My friend wouldn't shut up how creatine is a micracle supplements and gives you strength and a pump (placebo+bloat) and how I am missing out.
Last year he took a trip to Turkey.
Bottom line is that you get all you need from a proper diet, which includes meat.

youd have to eat 1kg of beef everyday to get 5g of creatine which can easily be suplemented. its impractical and expensive

I literally have elk, deer and venison stocked up in my freezer and get bison almost monthly from my game butcher. Seriously stop giving the supplement j*ws money. Even ifbb pros don't use the supps the sponsors give them and that should be the nail in the coffin for you

    Let me explain it
    >there is strong scientific evidence that creatine increases DHT
    >there is also strong scientific evidence that an increase in DHT accelerates the process of balding (so in other words, if it's not in your genetics to go bald, then nothing happens, but if it is, then you'll go bald a lot faster and at a younger age)
However... There is no conclusive evidence where they have designed trials to actually give people creatine long term, and then measure whether they lose their hair or not (and there probably won't be any time soon, because the only one that can finance studies like that are the coorporations that want to SELL you the supplements), so now, the "experts" will tell you that there is not "evidence" that creatine makes you go bald.

So we kinda do know for a fact that creatine increases DHT and that an increase in DHT accelerates balding, but in "science", you're not allowed to say that creatine accelerates balding unless those actual trials have been done in which they connect the 2 (which we will probably never see, because all nutrition/supplement/medicine science is funded by the parties that try to sell you stuff)

is strong scientific evidence that creatine increases DHT
one, ONE fricking study from 2009, done on like 10 football players, who were given like 50 grams of creatine daily, and were probably also on roids but this of course wasnt controlled for or disclosed, and since then has been debunked multiple times, and was not repeated
this is what the average ISTtard calls STRONG EVIDENCE

none of this shit even matters when even lifting increases DHT.

The results from that one study have never been replicated. Also, the 10 football players (what a sample size!) had way lower than average DHT to begin with. While they had a "statistically significant" increase in DHT levels, they were still below average. Statistically significant does not always equal practically significant.

It's not true. Men typically start working out after their quarter or mid-life crisis. This is around the time most men begin to show signs of hair loss due to age. It is purely coincidental. If you notice hairloss after you begin a creatine stack then you should start finasteride regardless of whether you decide to quit creatine. The norwood reaper will continue to take your youth either way.

Not even close to a good analogy. Either you have good hair genes, or you don't. A nutritional supplement for a compound that is found in every piece of muscle meat and is even produced by your own body as a normal part of the metabolism is not going to cause you to bald. The average person who is not a vegan or vegetarian following a standard diet such as the standard American or Australian diets still produce at least 1-2 grams of creatine per day, and might intake as much as 1g from their diet per day. At the same time, their muscle stores of creatine are at least at 65% capacity. That's a lot of creatine there.

Agreed, but I don't know if my genetics are shit, and don't want to push it. If I get bald anyway.sooner or later better be later

Many people have shit genes for hair and hairline. The problem is when you don't accept it and then like many go on to try to blame some supplement, type of food, etc. rather than just acknowledging their genetic predisposition to balding and they just started to bald and then go on some moronic looksmaxing forum or thread to post about it.
