1. Great way to get injured.
2. Expert at nothing, mediocre at everything because they programming is random, lacks focus, making it hard to measure results
3. Normies are moronic in their circle jerk
4. Any "successful" crossfitter could have attained better results doing an actual program because a. they probably just have better genetics or b. they are roiding fricking monkeytards.
5. You do what you want, nobody cares
it doesn't do anything if you don't know how to brace to begin with
it's not there to band aid your non-existent core stability and body awareness, it just gives a better brace which means better force transfer
My short list is of reasons is >people only do it because they're scared of toxic gym culture >monthly membership is like $112 for bare bones facilities >cultish and lawsuit happy administration >all their marketing is with people taking peds and generally encourage people to do so just not openly >the fake sports angle as some moronic attempt at legitimacy >lying to their clientele
really nothing all that spectacular in the fitness industry but the hypocrisy of doing that while claiming to be differnt is what irks me the most
>you really think this guy is scared of "toxic gym culture"?
Probably was if started with crossfit >if you think $112 is somehow a lot of money
It is for what you are paying for which is a mostly empty space with little equipment. It's not Olympic style gymnasium, it's not curves style cardio gym, it's not a weightlifting gym, it's not a gym with machines. It's a room with like a dozen pullup bar, usually have to bring your own rings, a couple benches and some sperg hitting a tire in corner with a sledgehammer. The facility here doesn't even have the benches or any free weights but they still expect the same membership dues. Which is laughable because for less than 6 months dues you could have a pretty full homegym. Where as with a more conventional gym it might take a year or three to have the price points meet.
>kipping pull-ups >highly technical weightlifting lifts done for reps to exhaustion >doesn't teach their dumb pupils how to do one fricking lift correctly
I fricking hate it, every now and then some moron will come into my gym and do some knees caved in quarter squats and a few botched clean and jerks outside the rack despite my gym having an entire room full of platforms
It's stupidly expensive, stupidly inefficient and a gay circlejerk.
If you take a run twice a week and go to the gym thrice you will make more gains in a year than a crossfitter ever will in their lives.
Cross fit huh.. sounds like a religious gym, haha!

My local crossfit gym is full of post wall women looking for young male dick
Sounds like every church, haha!
It just looks goofy.
they're jealous. Crossfit is fun and social and somehow gets better gains than their boring, lonely 5x5 program
I don't think you can get to ronnie coleman size or brock Lesnar size doing crossfit
you think those guys look good?
Yes
risk of injury due to shitty form
comically expensive
women are just absolute prostitutes, serious risk of STDs if you bed one.
Lmao people think that just because they wear a belt they can do whatever and they'll be alright

>fun
that is the problem anon, they use ineffective exercises and bad form because it's more "fun"

you really think this guy is scared of "toxic gym culture"?
and if you think $112 is somehow a lot of money you need to get your priorities straight. Get a job before wasting your life in the gym
