      People low in copper are protected from hair loss basically. Ive observed it many times, people who go grey very early most often always have excellent hairline and hair density. That's because copper is highly estrogenic and leads to collagen overproduction which fricks up your scalp. Most people who lose hair are low in Zinc and high in Copper (one goes with the other). So don't take Copper, it's really easy to have too much and it's a blessing to have little. And hair loss is cured by Zinc mostly, never take finasteride.

      Did a similar thing which was why I bought copper (2 mg) to correct the issue and discovered its untold effects. RDA is 0.9 mg, which is what's in multivitamins, so there's no reason to take the full dose once visible effects are apparent.

        Ive had this on/off again cough that keeps popping up every few months. Still want the added benefits of zinc, but dont want the cough(if thats whats causing it). Trying to find the right balance I guess.

          Felt worse the days I took zinc than the days I didn't and in addition the zinc seemed to be causing kidney stones, an effect that I hadn't previously experienced when I started taking it, even though I was using the same stack. They cleared up when I didn't take zinc, which was tied in to a realization that the dosage I was using (50 mg) was actually excessive and that I'd been taking it so for way too long. With your cough, excessive long-term zinc intake can lead to immunosuppression, so it's worth re-evaluating whether it's still beneficial.

      I took a lot of zinc too, too much and it reduced my copper and resulted in PVCs and PACs, very annoying. Taking 2mg Chelated Copper now most days trying to fix it, only been a week though. You also can't take copper for too long btw.

      I have done some more research, zinc and copper are inherently linked, taking copper depletes your zinc and taking zinc depletes your copper. Giving yourself a temporary zinc deficiency through taking a lot of copper sounds really moronic on paper but im not your doctor. I guess go look at the symptoms of hypocupremia and decide if gooning is worth graying out over.

        Zinc dosages are higher than copper dosages though. When you take zinc supplements your body produces metallothionein proteins which neutralize both it and copper to prevent heavy metal toxicity, but copper is present in much smaller quantities in a typical diet, so when you take high doses of zinc for an extended period of time the metallothioneins produced end up neutralizing the copper in your diet leading to a deficiency. Unless you're megadosing copper at zinc levels, which you shouldn't, the effect the other way around wouldn't be equivalent.

          Take aromatase inhibitors. Both test, estrogen, and even progesterone modulate what we consider "horniness" but estrogen in particular is responsible for the "down bad" kind of desperate horniness that you usually cave to. As long as your testosterone isn't cripplingly low, nuking your estrogen won't kill your libido, but it will help you to control your libido rather than be controlled by it.
