yes, but I still eat them once in a while to remember the days when I used to be poor. They serve their purpose.

We, lambs of God, are all sinners. And in that we're all poor.

A phenomenal recipe. If you’re not eating oils right now I’m sure it can be made without the olive oil. Vegetable stock instead of chicken stock.

Christ assumed the human nature common to you or me or everyone else, but also posesses the divine nature. We don't worship a man or Christ's human nature, or for that point, His divine nature and explicitely not His human nature - we worship Him, the second person of the Godhead and through Him, ultimately, the triune God.
Make of that what you will, it has been discussed and debated extensively. I recommend to read the ancient philosophy and theology of the fathers. Fascinating works that also help me lift and support me in becoming a better man.

What you're saying sounds really profound and explanatory, but it explains nothing, and it rings hollow. It's a man and you're worshiping him. You can use all kinds of linguistic gymnastics to say you venerate his form, or you worship through him, but the fact is that Christians believe that there's a triune Godhead and each person in it is separate but co-equal, meaning that God is a literally a man, and you worship him. And that's idolatry, pure and simple.

I would take issue with your definition of idolatry. Yes, we worship a man, but fully believing He is Christ as prophesized, a Messiah that has come into this world. Truly come into the world. An that entails assuming a physical form. That man is God and not some graven image we ourselves create and impose on the world and claim it to be more than our creation which is what an idol would be.
I believe man was created in God's image. So when he comes to us into this world - would I not expect his form to be ours?

*'worship just any man'; second sentence
Should have made that point clearer. My mistake.

Fasts should be the time when you stop looking for enjoyment or comfort in food. You should eat plain chicken, rice, liver etc.(food that doesnt taste good to you)

St John Chrystomos said that if the wife wants some sex during the lent you should do it so you don't cause any problems in the marriage

Just remember what Paul said, that the ultimate goal is to be celibate and not even get married, and that only if you are a weak person and given to your lusts, should you do either of them. Looks like you're a weak man.
