Hey IST,
i've been wondering about how effective a Döner-based diet would be in trying to gain muscle/weight.
Döner has lots of protein and comes witha lot of vegetables and greens. Its sauce, bread and meat are probably also a good source of calories.
Furthermore, Döner is not filled with chemicals like in other various Fast-Food chains (McDonalds, PizzaHut etc...), so i suppose it's healthy too.
One Döner at a good restaurant costs around 5€ (5,28$), making it a cheap, rich and simple piece of food.
According to https://www.wikifit.de/kalorientabelle/fast-food/doener-kebab, an average Döner has:
644 Calories / 2695 Kilojoules
42g of Protein
87,5g of Carbohydrates
129,5mg of Cholesterol
and lots of Iron / Magnesium
I'm a student so i seek the cheapest and healthiest method to get in lots of nutrients.
And yes, i'm german.
Youre just copying my club sandwich only diet but in a much less based way
this is rly funny once u see the other thread i nearly spit out my milk
>less based
t. Never had a döner
>club sandwich
>döner
Döner easily wins everytime you Black person
>5€
Chemical-filled garbage. Aim for minimum 20€ sandwiches.
Which chemicals does it have?
The meat is just stacked-chicken/cow meat pierced with a kind of spear, and the Kebab itself is ALWAYS fully-visible behind the counter, not hidden behind big machines like in McDon's for example.
The fieces from the migrants who make them should count as chemicals
'cado chemicals
breaking news, cow meat is fatty
>LE FAT IS LE....LE BAD!!!! WHY??? UHHH....IT...ITS JUST IS OK????????
kys
>t.
Black person i used to buy provisions for a kebab shop, 80km away sold in huge underground market laying there with ni refriegeration
Its fricking chem stacked toxic garbage
Youre such a dumb Black person its insane kys
It's a bunch of meat bound together with trans fats etc, not an actual section of an animal.
>cheapest and healthiest method to get in lots of nutrients
>restaurant
ngmi
Du solltest kochen lernen.
>5 Euro, bitte.....
kringel
I would not eat it exclusively or even every day but one/two a week is fine. You should try gyros places aswell though.
That being said nothing beats cooking yourself.
>>Sie
whatever, I don't practice German all that much anymore.
If a kebab shop charges 5Euro, then they're making money. They're getting cheaper meat somewhere, OP just needs to find a place so he can cut out the middleman kebab shop.
>If a kebab shop charges 5Euro, then they're making money. They're getting cheaper meat somewhere,
not necessary, many kebab shops are involed in money laundring so they don't really care how many kebabs they sell or how much the ingredients cost
why don't the police of Germany's equivalent of the FBI bust them?
Euros always shit on the US, but after spending a while over there the US looks really nice.
OP should start calling delicatessen and butcher shops and ask about prices if he's really poor. Forget about eating bio though haha.
Vielen Dank.
>500g for 1,69 at Edeka
There ya go OP. Where I am in the US I can get a whole chicken (defeathered and beheaded of course) for about $2.15/lb, so pretty similar. You just have to be clever about spending money.
>why don't the police of Germany's equivalent of the FBI bust them?
it's hard, the only way would be to camp a shop and count every customer and what he bought
Fair enough. I'm thinking more in terms of investigating the owners and their social connections. Eventually this would lead to evidence of illegal activity I'd imagine.
Also, I haven't been back to Germany in about 5 years. I remember seeing a documentary video on DW about swedish police refusing to police migrant neighborhoods because of """race""" stuff. How is it these days in Germany? Is it similar? Will my family's small town still be a safe place to visit like before?
Why would they? They launder the money and thus pay taxes why would the government deny free money? Also Germany is largely cash based in the majority of Döner shops you can only pay with cash, many illegal activities revolve around cash here. If you buy an appartment you can pay with cash and only if the notary is absolutely sure the cash comes from illegal sources can he report you but how would he know? Furthermore when you withdraw money from the bank only from 15K € upward you have to identify yourself. There are many more different examples, but in short Germany is a tax haven and it is no wonder that e.g the mafia comes here to spend their money all without repercussion.
>Why would they?
Because it's literally their job to enforce the law? Wouldn't your government accountability office sue your version of the FBI for not doing the job? That's what would happen in the US for the most part.
>Germany is a tax haven
Compared to where? France? Yeah maybe, but not compared to most places. I guess I'll take your word on it.
mmmm with egg noodles, carrots and potatoes...
I always make my chicken soup an Asian variety with rice noodles, lemon juice and rind, coriander and fish sauce. Maybe spiced with some chili.
Again, they can't. Döner shops are 99% cash based they can decide how much or how little cashflow their place provides thus either evading taxes or laundering their blood money, it's common knowledge but not worth the effort to stop it so they just let them do their thing. And these "accountability offices" are crimeridden too the former finance minister, now chancellor Olaf Scholz is accused of playing a part in the tax evasion of millions from a the Warburg bank etc... The politicians in Germany are either corrupt, incompetent or both there is no inbetween, they are too busy lining their own pockets and decreeing populistic band aid solutions instead of removing the problem at the root, because they are a large part of the problem themselves. And Germany may not be so notorious a tax haven like Panama or Virgin Islands but they are certainly one of the biggest in Europe.
Also there is Suppenhuhn (soup chicken), the big one (2,5kg) costs 2,69€ for a kilogram and the small one (900g) for 2,28€ for a kilogram. You can make a pot full of soup and it will last you for days. Quick, cheap and easy, also you can put different foodstuffs into the soup for variety.
alright sounds good
is it a whole ass chicken? the form of it in the pic looks like a whole-chicken 😮
It's a whole chicken, but the breast muscles are way smaller than the ones from Brathähnchen, also you have to clean it before cooking as there are often a few feathers and maybe bone debris and you have to scratch out the kidneys. I personally also remove the Bürzel (rump)
Then put it in a pot with water. I put juniper berries, bay leaves and pepper corns into the water for the aromt. After 3 to 4 hours of simmering you'll get a chicken stock and you can now strip of the bones of meat. A put the meat inside some container and the stock jars, if you sterilize the jars the stock will be good for over a year but if you consume it in a few days just put the jars into the fridge without the hassle of sterilizing them.
>many kebab shops are involed in money laundring so they don't really care how many kebabs they sell or how much the ingredients cost
Based, what are some telltale signs that a restaurant is involved in money laundering? I want in on some literally criminal discounts.
Not being able to pay with debit card is a definite sign
Basierter Höflichkeitsformnutzer.
But yes, just by quark, eggs, chicken. There is chicken liver 500g for 1,69€ in Edeka, much more nutritious and way less expensive.
> If a kebab shop charges 5Euro, then they're making money.
You know how ridiculous this sounds? The shop needs to also pay the employee, pay the rent for the place, pay the taxes, pay the cost of ingredients and utilities and finally make some profit.
5€ is dirt cheap
selbst kochen ist günstiger als 1 döner jeden tag
I feel like this wasn't written by German hands, because I haven't spoken/written German in like 8 years and could understand this too easily
good for you 😉
you're right. either the poster is severely autistic and doesn't get that "eine diverse Kategorie" doesn't make sense in german, or he's not german.
don't eat Döner. Majority of the meat is produced in poland by working class poles. You can guess how they feel about muslims and germans. It's probably less risky to eat gutter oil.
Doner meat, like Gyros is filled with nitrates(Gyros in Germany is shit ), calorie wise you can manage but you will probably be bloated all day, never mind the whole cancer link.
Try eating chicken stuff instead if Turks offer them.
this, just buy decent meat and DIY something kebab-like
- meat, stir fry
- some greens or veg (tomatoes, cuke and lettuce gets you there already)
- extra virgin olive oil, ideally not thermally processed
- whole wheat bread, or just do rice (prep accordingly if whole-grain from the places with arsenic), and you can swap to easier veg to make the whole thing into stir-fry with 3 days' worth of leftovers
tldr stir fry good ingredients and you're gucci
I think it's decent if you avoid the Sneed oil fried fries
Why not just make them at home though? You can buy better quality meat and bread and veggies for less money
I don't know what country you live in anon but in the UK doner is made with shit tier meat. you might as well be eating onions burgers with all the crap they put in it.
try and go for something that gets sold as shwarma or gyros since it's gonna be marketed to less poor/drunk people and probably will be the same thing except made of actual meat.
souvlaki is best since you just have cubes of real meat rather than suspicious shavings of 40% fat, when im cutting I just get the skewers with no pitta and chips inside but its a great combination of carbs fats and protein
Döner outside of big German citie will definitely be dogshit.
But the other option you described doesn't sound too bad either.
I am underweight so i wouldn't mind a bit more fat
>with all the crap they put in it.
such as?
turkish germs
germs are ok you neet
>5€
Do germans really
that's a great price, fast food costs like £8 minimum in my country for a real meal.
do americans really get to buy burgers and shit for a dollar and 99 cents? I though that was 1960's good old days prices
Alter, in meinem Edeka gibt es Suppenhuhn für je das Kilo 2,69€. Mach einfach Hühnersuppe (obwohl bei mir mal ein Huhn 'ne Zyste gehabt hat)
eat eggs, tuna and skyr/magerquark, oats, rice, ... if you're broke
die preise für döner sind ein absoluter witz mittlerweile, selbst in kreuzberg wo bude an bude steht
Deshalb isst man den in Wedding du zugezogenes Opfer
a lot of gyro "meat" is bulked with onions protein
its not a high quality food
imagine eating roach food lol
Here I can pretty much get them at a fraction of the price, might unironically try this now.
i get a doner or durum from local turk and a pita gyros from my local greek once a week. shits delicious and inexpensive. turks are also giga based
Are you the frick running the doner shop outside my window selling 5 euro doners?
Great diet if you want to die at 30 and be a fat frick
There's a reason most people only eat that garbage when extremely drunk
