why do weightlifting influencers always preach about technique and how you should never sacrafice in order to lift more weight but everytime I see a professional powershitter or even just a regular gym goer with somewhat decent numbers on his squat their technique is always worse than mine on my first day ever in the gym

Technique is usually pretty dependent on the individual and their traits, particularly for a lift like the squat. Things like femur length for instance will play a huge role in determining how your technique is gonna look. So for some people, they’ll just naturally be able to squat with a narrow stance and an upright torso. Others are gonna have to stand wider and lean more forward.
This is a technically excellent high bar squat

I snapped my shit once doing T bar rows. First set heaviest, nothing. Second set lighter, nothing. Third set just light pump set, few reps in "snap" goes lower back, even with good form and shit.
