Deadlift alternative

listen up IST
>finally reached 5pl8 after 2,5 years of lifting at 30yrs old, whilst on a cut all the time
>went from 150kg obese mofo to 85kg lean-ish looking at 187cm height
>fairly certain that heavy deadlifting 3x a week carried this entire journey
>keep getting promotions at work because I'm so ultra fatigued and just don't speak unless necessary, only join in on important conversations and pre-think of everything I have to say
>all of a sudden manager of a bigger office
>mega competitive, can't be this fatigued all the time
bros what do I do, deadlift is the only lift that keeps improving no matter what I eat
My squat literally decreased over the last 3 months when I went on a hardcore cut from 130kg to 120kg (i only frontsquat)
My bench is down to 100kg and my OHP down to 70kg

I need to have more energy but I want to keep my current body, I wanna lose even more fat actually.. My genetics are crazy good, or maybe it's because I fasted often for 7+ days, but I have absolutely no hanging skin even though I was a fatass all my life.
I want to finally see my abs, man.
What can I do?
I'm 30 years old now.
Would removing Frontsquats as well and changing to High Bar Squats give me the balance that I had between Deadlifts+Frontsquats?
Is there anything I can do, that doesn't fatigue me as hard? I've tried high rep low weight deadlifts but they also frick me completely.
Maybe it's because I do every single set of every single exercise to failure?

To increase energy and continue losing fat while maintaining your current physique, here are some suggestions:

    1. Adjust your nutrition: Focus on consuming a balanced diet with adequate protein, healthy fats, and complex carbohydrates. Ensure you are in a calorie deficit to support fat loss. Consider incorporating foods that provide sustained energy, such as whole grains, lean proteins, fruits, and vegetables.

    2. Keep up with intermittent fasting: If fasting has worked well for you in the past, continue incorporating intermittent fasting into your routine. It can help with fat loss and may provide an energy boost for some individuals.

    3. Review your exercise routine: Instead of removing front squats, you can switch to high bar squats if you find they provide better balance for your training. Experiment with different exercises and variations to target your abs effectively. Planks, cable crunches, and weighted decline sit-ups are a few examples of exercises that can help strengthen your abdominal muscles.

    4. Adjust your training intensity: It's not necessary to push every set to failure. Consider incorporating a mix of higher intensity and moderate intensity workouts. This allows for proper recovery and prevents excessive fatigue. Periodize your training, alternating between phases of higher and lower intensity to optimize progress and manage fatigue.

    5. Prioritize recovery: Make sure you're getting enough rest and quality sleep to support your energy levels and overall well-being. Adequate recovery is crucial for muscle growth, fat loss, and optimal performance.

Remember to listen to your body, be patient, and stay consistent with your efforts. It may take time to see visible abs, but with a balanced approach to nutrition, exercise, and recovery, you can continue making progress towards your goals.

yeah I was just thinking that. First I was shocked that someone would write a serious answer longer than a line to OP. Don't do that please.

I feel like OP is either larping or what he's saying might be somewhat truthful but mostly just bragging.

what? why would telling you guys about how I can't balance working out with even being alive be bragging?
I literally am a fricking corpse after deadlift sessions it completely kills me and makes me immobile.
I feel like I've been drained of all life energy
There's a price to pay for good lifts and a career, if you haven't paid it everything will seem like bragging to you you fricking incel loser

abs without tiredness as a former fatty are probably not happening unless you wanna start on amphetamines

i used to take amphetamines np i learned from them before all this fasting hype that it's np to not eat 7 days in a row.
so you're saying i should hardcore cut on 0kcal for some time and then slowly introduce calories ?
      like day 1 900kcal
      day 2 1000
etc until day 12 2000 kcal and then see what happens?

I ditched the conventional DLs recently after hitting 4 plates because they take up way too much time and energy. I work and go to college so I need to keep my workouts as short and efficient as possible.

I still want to train my hamstrings so I do Romanian DLs of which I can do 4 sets in about 10ish minutes and I still like to deadlift from the floor so I do snatch-grip DL on a different day. They feel pretty good on my back, the satisfy that itch of pulling from the floor and they don't take nowhere near as much time and energy as conventional DL does

how do you rdl with good form? I've tried before my upper back collapses before my hammies do

        Anonymous

I retract my scapula to shorten my lats which makes it easier for you back to hold the weight for the duration of the set. Also, keep the barbell as close to your shins as possible; push your hips/gluts back as much as you can to put more load on you hamstrings and less on your back.

Also, as for most barbell exercises, don't forget to tighten your core

Don't drop deadlifts if they've been the key to your success. Get better rest and hop on 200 mg test 100mg primo weekly. You'll be less fatigued, more capable, and a tad more aggressive in a positive way
