Death Fasting and home made saunas

What are your thoughts on death fasting? Basically, the idea is you don't eat or drink and this forces your body to use your fat cells as a water source. They also recommend you use a sauna while doing this because it will get water out of your body and force it to burn fat cells.

Also, I don't have a sauna and was wondering if I could make one out of a dehumidifier and a garbage bag.

drink fricking water. at the very least you drink fricking water. also you need electrolytes if you want to fast for more than a few days. get your electrolyte supplements. and that's it. you don't need a god damn sauna. just fast regularly and that's it.

Anon, read “Atomic Habits” and “The Compound Effect.” You can find pirated audiobook or pdf versions online. Then also watch Cole (snake man)’s latest videos on his channel. He has too many fat lazy clients yoyodiet and gain the weight back cuz they can’t into cico and portion control. You must build sustainable habits to fall back on between fasts. But yes fasting is great and i have done many.

    >forces your body to use your fat cells as a water source
Sounds idiotically dangerous. A water and electrolyte fast that forces the utilization of fat reserves for energy should burn through stored calories plenty fast.

I have done a few 3 day/night dry fasts. That includes no contact with water. Obviously you are not gonna want to work or do anything too strenuous. With the snake diet it is not true fasting so to speak because they have a sort of electrolyte drink? That was my understanding anyway.

As someone who has done dry fasts the thought of going in a sauna or even being too hot for any period of time sounds painful and probably dangerous. Your temperature regulation is going to be nuts anyway. Your heart will be working extra hard because you will have low sodium and blood pressure.

But people told me I would die doing a dry fast for three days. So who knows?

How much do you live life?

How much do you love ordeal therapy?

    I would choose life.

I kiss the ground and thank God I am alive.

It entirely depends on how fat you are. I never tried death fasting, but have done a couple of 3 day dry-fasts and plenty of 48 hour dry-fasts. Once you get lean, it gets difficult to sleep and that's where you need to switch to something else. I don't doubt the validity of death-fasting or what the Snakediet guy says, but it might help to ease into death-fasting until you are experienced with fasting more. I do know one guy who did it, but he was fat. Like the snakediet guys says, you go slow on the type of activity you are doing, not trying to grind things out when fasted.

I would say the electrolytes in water still counts as fasting, but I agree with what you said about people thinking you will die. Everyone seems to have a strong opinion about fasting despite having no experience doing so. It really wakes you up to how ignorant most people are on the subject.

I am ashamed to say it but I did hit 300 and I am 5 10. I am around 293 now. So I figure I could death fast from anywhere from 1 to 3 days at a time and just keep rolling with that while I regularly fast. And I think I will fast in general for anywhere from 1 week to 2 weeks to a month. I am also taking caffeine pills and I will be eating salt and getting some patasume supplements.

Sounds like you are on the right path. Martin Berkham has recommended caffeine for cutting. But I myself am not a fan, I like Cole's approach of cutting out everything and breaking yourself of any type of food addictions. I have no idea what patasume is though, care to elaborate?

Cole (the Snakediet guy) actually has a ton of good advice regardless of where you are at in fitness level. At your level, you already know what to do, you just have to stick with it when it gets boring of doing the same thing all the time and not change up the plan despite it working. That's the biggest mistake most people make. I followed his plan of eating one meal every other day on a cut and it works very well. Even moreso when doing keto (actual keto, not just carnivore).

Good luck anon, you'll make it.

lol, I didn't actually make that connection, but no worries. I've never tried supplementing potassium before, but it's likely in the multivitamin that I take when not fasting.

Youre a moron. You cannot survive by converting fat stores into water. In fact, you cannot live significantly longer without food if youre fat without water and vitamins. Fatties still need enough vital water-soluble B vitamins in their system to help metabolise fat stores

Dry fasting is extreme enough. If you're going to be active at all do a snake juice fast.

I gained a net 15 pounds after the fallout of my snake juice diet attempt, and I lost 55 after doing low fat MICO.

If you aren't a boxer trying to make weight for a million dollar fight, it doesn't make any damn sense.

Water fasting is already so easy and effective that the risks start to outweigh the benefits if you start adding restrictions.

    I've done a 6 day dry fast.

Don't do it though, I think it fricked me up.

Now my right arms and hands goes numb for no reason from time to time.

6 days seems a little extreme. I was thinking of doing it for 1 or two days at a time maybe 3 at the most. Also, I am sorry for what happened to you. That really sucks. Can I ask you how much you weighed at the time and how much you weigh now?

Just drink the snake juice its not hard guys. Its preferable to fast for all of a few extra days, than to risk breaking something.

I refuse to dry fast because it’s stupid and gay. Saunas are great though. I’ll have my heart rate between 120-150 (depending on temperature) for like 45 minutes out of an hour in my sauna
