Everything you take is damaging to the body to some extent but they are literal doctor prescribed drugs. Now they are usually prescribed for women to lower breast cancer but its not something thats gonna severely harm you even if you are not a woman treating breast cancer. For me the biggest side effects were very oily skin and increased hair shedding while I did my 60-90 day raloxifene cycle I dont even remember anymore.
I dont even know if I had actually gyno since I never got it x-ray and checked by a doctor I just self-diagnosed it. But I took raloxifene 2 years ago and after that I didnt have what I consider a gyno anymore. That said I did also lower my bodyfat. I think that it made my nipples look less puffy and I couldnt really feel anything hard behind my nipples anymore so take it as you will.
I personally dont see why you wouldnt spend like 40€ to see if it goes away with SERMS before paying 10 000€ to chop your breasts for no reason.
