Did he have a stroke or something cause he permanently clicks his face to the left any time he does anything lol
He had Bells Palsey a while back. His face seems different since then even though he said he's recovered
I was friends with a guy in school who had bells palsy (I was actually there when it spontaneously occurred and half his face went paralyzed in under a minute, pretty scary) but his face never fully went back to how it was before. To this day he still has a crooked asymmetrical smile, tho who knows if that's due to the actual nerves not healing fully or if it just became habit for him to smile that way.
I also knew a guy who was born with a disconnected optic nerve, and the only way he could see is if he bobbed his head continuously, which reconnected the nerve temporarily. He had it surgically fixed but for years after, he still compulsively bobbed his head pretty much all the time. The point is that weird ticky habits die hard even if there isn't an underlying condition causing them

you can "recover" and it goes away as in you get the control of the muscle in your face back but in many cases it causes permanent dis-figuration and atrophy of the muscle.
>Post bench
I don't bother with compounds. I only do BB routines. But I can do 50 reps and 6 sets of 45lbs DB presses.
Post that rippetoe fizeek, tubby.

Same lol, is troony the only insult you guys have now. I have legit never spoken to one in my life. Are they just a twitter meme.
That 501kg is going to be broken soon by someone half his size. Its not that impressive
Derek is a moron who sells scam products and peddles pseudo-science to ingnorant teenagers. Hafthor is the strongest person who has ever lived. Don't even mention them in the same sentence in a joke post my guy.

You have no idea what you're talking about. There's really only 2 people on the planet right now who have any chance of breaking this record. One is Ivan Makarov, who has failed twice now, and the other is Rauno Heinla, whose body might not let him despite being strong enough. Sumo Kabuki bar lifts don't count and nobody takes them seriously. Although Thor's record will one day be broken, it will be broken by another unit.

I'm bored of the 505 shit now. Far too much shit chatting and not enough follow through.
Ivan's never going to pull it unless he trains smarter. The guy still pulls massive weight a week out from comps and fricks around pulling in the 500s from blocks. None of it helps.
Rauno trains smarter but he also trains for whole competitions. He'd have to ditch training events and focus entirely on deadlifting.
Tom Stoltman wants to give it a go but will only do it if the money is right. He might be capable with better coaching.
Hooper making all those wild claims that he was gonna pull 510 if 505 went (while being lighter than Eddie and Thor) then topping out with the ugliest fricking 453.5 of all time says everything you need to know about him.
Adam Bishop could do it, but like Rauno and Tom he'd have to put strongman on the backburner.
Peiman couldn't lock out if you held a gun to his head.

Moose and Rauno probably could if they only focused on deadlift. I was loading when he pulled 475 last year. It's just not gonna happen training for full shows and especially when these guys are competing every week.

To be honest out of all the people I listed the only two I see ever doing it are Rauno and Tom. Rauno because he's just perfectly built for deadlifting (like Eddie) and Tom because he's a giant with enough real estate to pack on enough mass to pull it (like Thor).

I don't see Tom chasing it, he only wants stone records and wsm titles. Rauno surprised the frick out of me with the smooth 476

Tom's already said he'll go after it if the money is right (obviously to make up for any comps he'd have to miss) and because "no one is talking about stone records."
Rauno surprised me too. I thought he'd do 453.5 and call it a day. Looked better than his 460 from a few weeks ago too.

Rauno shouldn't have surprised anyone. He's been one of the best deadlifters on the planet for nearly a decade now and holds the 200kg for reps record.
If anyone is going to get the record any time soon, it's Rauno. Tom has yet to deadlift 1000 pounds and has a lot of work to do even if he chases it. Mitch should be focused on becoming a good strongman rather than deadlifting 505 kg, which he probably can't do anytime soon either.
Rauno could get 505 before the end of the year if his body holds out. But who knows on that front. He's 40 and his body has been through a lot. Would be amazing if he does it though, and it would make a lot of athletes re-consider their strength goals relative to age.
>And yet he pulled 501kg up off the ground. Amazin.
You do realize you're shilling a 300kg moron that got knocked out into facial paralysis by someone a quarter of his size... right?
hafthor is bursting at the seams with steroids, imagine having so much reverence for a cheater that you seethe across the internet defending him. I can practically see the tears welling up in your eyes from where I'm typing
Shaw paid him a visit to iceland after Thor collaboarated with larry wheels. It is rumored that shaw gave him a beating so bad that it paralyzed half of thors face. After shaw beat the shit out of him, he leaned down and told thor and whispered something into his ear that changed the man forever.
it was worse before
ok, but im seriously looking for an answer to this question
does he have some kind of health/medical problem?

First i've ever heard about this, thanks for the explanation anon.
Because you're a moron and could've simply googled it instead of making a post because this is really common knowledge.
Correct
I thought is was Jón Palsey
