Diet while working on the road

Fat piece of shit here, currently working a job that has me always on the road with no access to a kitchen so I'm having to pick prepackaged foods and stuff from fastfood/cheap local restaurants. Does anyone have recommendations for stuff I can get regularly from fastfood / restaurant chains / supermarkets week to week to keep some variability in my diet, lose weight, and eat for under $30 a day?

I've tried the Walmart salads and they give me the runs, I don't really trust their deli.

Pic is me, 235 lbs now 5' 10.

As a side note I have resistance bands in the mail on their way, but I have no clue how to plan a diet

Chikfila or Whataburger grilled chicken sandwiches no fries no drink. Subway chicken breast chop salad is good too. A burger isn’t the end of the world or bad if you’ve got the cals to spare and need the fat, but still no fries or soda.

bro is morbidly obese with no muscle whatsoever he doesn't need fricking fat or bread. Just eat a fricking salad and a few pieces of chicken breast(deli meat if you gotta) and he'll literally melt off any excess luggage.
      >go to walmart or whatever
      >get a big bag of spinach and shit
      >get a bin of turkey and put in the bag

This makes it easy to count your calories. You'll be fine. Eat no more than 1500 Calories a day until goal weight achieved.

      Yes, intermittent fasting.

If you eat trash there are consequences. We can mitigate the damage not make it go away.

That could be 1 meal in a restaurant, moron.

Wasn’t there a guy that lost weight on only McDonald’s?

      Hes dead.

Panda express beef broccoli and super greens bowl. Shit is great if you absolutely need to go the fast food route but still want to eat healthy.

yeah its CICO and all but imagine how hungry you would be eating 2000kcal per day of food that was designed to be 2000kcal per meal

Do you fly to each site? What I did when I worked field service was bought a yeti cooler(paid for itself with 2 weeks of per diem checks in the amount of money I saved) and meal prepped everything over the weekend so I could just toss everything in the cooler in Ziploc bags. Get a bunch of plastic silverware and paper plates so zero dishes. I don't recall ever staying in a hotel that didn't at least have a microwave but I'd also stay at Extended Stay's even for just the one night I was onsite to use the kitchen. If you have to fly none of this is helpful so sorry bud you're SOL unless you are working in ritzy areas that serve actual food and not Applebee's.

No. Stop fricking eating you fat pigfrick. Whoever told you that you had to eat every day was lying. You definitely don't need to eat more than once a day. I haven't eaten since Sunday.

As a cheapgay on a cut who had to drive cross country to get his homosexual brother from ass-licking University, I bought a box of these, a package of ramen, a bag of apples, a bag of oranges, and a palette of V8 cans.
I'd drive for eight hours a day, snacking on fruit, then when I got to my shitbox motel I'd have half a sack of beans with half a brick of ramen, wake up, have the rest of both, then hit the road and repeat.
Not really a lot of "variety" but frick it, I kept losing weight and felt satisfied and fueled enough to drive.
Looking back, wasn't worth it, should have left the kid to rot- but you live and learn.

go to trader joes and stock up on their frozen entrees. Just make sure you read the nutrition info, because some are shockingly good for you and some are shockingly bad. Many of their indian entrees are actually very lean and high protein and delicious. And on top of all that, it's very inexpensive

I like going to delis. Most big grocery stores have one, and the food there is typically more wholesome than fast food or gas station food.

go to this website, type in info, find out daily recommended calorie intake
    https://tdeecalculator.net/
Download MyFitPal or Chornometer to count calories
    Now eat whatever you want.
Stick to packaged foods as they give you barcodes you can scan right into your app.
Make sure to scan everything and keep your intake at least 200 calories lower than the number from the website.

Invest in a good eskie (idk what you call them in the states) and pack your meal prep in that. Fill with ice and put the tubberware in ziplock bags if you have to.

Skip meals, wait until the end of the day go eat anything and then you’re basically free to get whatever fast food you want. I work remote and drinking coffee or seltzer throughout the whole day helps a lot with managing the hunger
