Do fat metabolizers actually work?

Do fat metabolizers actually work?

I used to think they were total BS, but both BingChat and ChatGPT are saying that thermogenic fat burners (or fat metabolizers) might actually do something by cranking up your body's internal heat to torch more calories. Is there any real truth to this?

What's the initial consensus on this board?

The only thermogenic that works is DNP. I've been doing a lot of research on it lately and plan to start a cycle this winter to help with New Year's goals.

      >DNP - 2,4-Dinitrophenol is an organic compound with the formula HOC,H,(NO),. It has been used in explosives manufacturing and as a pesticide and herbicide.
WTF, why would you ever consume this? It's literally poison?

        it works.

        >DNP raises energy expenditure by 30 to 40 percent and causes a weight loss of 0.7–0.9 kilograms (1.5–2.0 lb) per week.[26]

        >DNP raises the basal metabolic rate (BMR) and lowers T4 (thyroid hormone) levels by increasing T4 metabolism and reducing thyroid hormone secretion. Because it binds to thyroxine-binding globulin, overall thyroid function may not be affected.

Do fiber pills work for reducing appetite?

if you want an hunger suppressor, eat high protein meals(30-40g per meal) 4 - 5 times a day and consume caffeine drinks such as coffee or diet soda.
Also only eat carbs before you workout and before bed time.

Except it doesn't raise your metabolism by that much if you actually try it, I was probably getting an extra 400 cal/day burned from it and it was pure hell.
Like I tell everyone else here, just eat a bit less or do an hour of cardio, both are far better options.

            Literally from wikipedia.
            >The most common adverse effect reported is a rash, which could be maculopapular, urticarial, angioedema, or an exfoliative dermatitis.[17] Cataracts can form, causing a permanent loss of vision in days to months of usage, and permanent deafness has also been reported.[17][35] Other adverse effects reported include peripheral neuritis, agranulocytosis, and neutropaenia.[17] Negative effects on the central nervous system, cardiovascular system, and bone marrow can occur.[1] In animal studies, DNP acted as a teratogen, mutagen, and carcinogen and caused developmental and reproductive harm.[17] An unusually yellow coloring of the skin, mucous membranes, sclera, urine, stomach contents, and internal organs is an indication of DNP exposure, but does not occur in every case.[36] Contact with skin or inhalation can cause DNP poisoning. Symptoms are typically mild with dermal exposure, but inhalation can lead to systemic effects, the same way as oral exposure.[17]

          >eat carbs before sleeping
Pretty sure this only works if you're diabetic. Eating anything close to your bed time is just going to frick with your sleep.

people should eat very little before bed. prilosec is one of the top prescriptions in the US because nobody figures out they shouldn't be digesting meals lying down.
50-100 calories of something sweet can help with hunger before bed since sugar doesn't need much time before absorption.

Eating nutritious food helps with hunger and not eating before bed helps with sleep. "Science" cattle will ignore this and continue not making it. They will probably even eat nighttime candy "supplements" based on whatever you said.

Are you fricking moronic, when you're deep in a diet you have constant cold feet and hands, you can't sleep because your body gives you insomnia, caused by lack of carbs. To avoid not sleeping and waking up every 3 hours is to give the body what it wants and have an 7-8hour sleep + a warm body.
So you only eat carbs before working out and before bed.
God sometimes I think none of you homosexuals even lift.

It's a meme drug that sucks dog dicks.
If you take DNP, you will
        >sweat yellow shit uncontrollably 24/7
        >struggle to get your breath all the time, climbing a flight of stairs becomes difficult without taking a rest
        >have insomnia
        >feel like you're roasting inside of your own body
        >burn perhaps an extra 400 cal/day which could be prevented if you just ate less or decided to move more as better options
        >get cataracts, as happens to most who take DNP
I did that shit for about a month back in the late 1990s, it was the worst fricking experience and barely helped with any fat loss. And yes, I was confirmed to have cataracts by my early 30s, so frick DNP, fatties just need to eat less and move more and they'll get better results as DNP doesn't "target fat", it just cranks up your metabolism a bit, but not enough to justify the side effects.

Sounds like you're a moron and took too much. I've done a few cycles and never had any of those problems, even one in me middle of July. Lost 20+ pounds in 3 weeks and want water weight because I was pounding gallons. Must suck too suck

possible mutagenic, teratogenic, carcinogenic properties. Its what IST craves. The DNP old guard remains silent.

That shit only happens when you consume DNP because it literally kills your cell's ability to utilize energy, the cell will then demand more energy from the body to compensate.
