Do they make any good money from this?

I wonder what their finances are like. Must be insane the cost to have that type of physique.

the cost of it is something i've been wondering a lot about
for example dorian yates was supposedly on welfare or food stamps or something while he was training, yet he was pumping himself full of GH which apparently costs a frick ton of money, and all the food etc.
liver king was blasting like 10k/month on gear, so what the frick do real mass monsters pay for it and how do they afford it?

      >10k a month
Absolute meme you DYEL moron. Test, tren, AI and all other compounds are relatively cheap even for grams a week. GH can be expensive but no where near that much. Only way someone could spend that is if they are getting scammed

jesus Christ, how much money do you spend on drugs? are you making money out of it at least? even from gay dudes.

Supposedly liver king was getting his shit through an actual endocrinologist, so that may have led to a markup.

The pros taking heroic doses of all this shit because they want to make it big aren't taking the shit that gets made in bathtubs, moron. They buy grey-market from private doctors who monitor and dose them. It is in fact extremely expensive and 10k a month may be hyperbole but not by that much.

although, from what i understand, the 11k figure quoted is for HGH, not gear.
          gear is indeed extremely cheap.

I wouldn't say the word "frick" in an email to my doctor but maybe it's a good idea when you're emailing a shady doctor. A very mild intimation of "we're all complicit"

gear is literally cheaper than a stack of creatine + whey. literally the only thing thats controversial is pharma grade HGH. but you can run chinese gh for pretty reasonable cost. all the other stuff test, tren etc. is again literally cheaper than buying whey powder and creatine.

I don't think that blasting 10k a month is even possible without dying almost immediately. Most compounds are like 30-50 bucks per vial, and even on extreme dosages it's not really possible to take more than one vial per week (tren, for example, costs 45 bucks per 1000 mg vial, and even pro bodybuilders wouldn't dare to take 1000 mg of tren per week). HGH is more expensive, but still not expensive enough to get even remotely close to 10k a month. 100 IU cost like 200 bucks, and even assuming an absurdly high dosage of 20 IU per day (which would lead to extreme facial deformations and make you look like an ogre within a few months), that's only 1200 dollars a month. Adding a very generous 500 dollars for anabolics and another very generous 500 dollars for cycle support, you're still only at 2200 dollars, while already consuming enough gear to kill an elephant. So I think the 10k are an utter meme. The average pro is probably realistically blasting 500-1000 dollars a month, I think that's a realistic estimate.

(And yes, all the prices I posted are if you get the compounds from reputable, lab-tested sources with good hygienic packaging and perfect purity, if you're willing to gamble and buy it from some sketchy Chinese or Russian shop, they are even cheaper).

      Yes. Everyone admires them

Modern pro-bodybuilding is absolutely not worth it. It's a competition by insecure closeted homosexuals and a complete perversion of the thing it was originally supposed to mean (a way of admiring and celebrating health, strength, effort and youth). Pro bodybuilders are all either attention whoring narcissists or suffer from severe body dysmorphia. Hell, most of them unironically prostitute themselves out to rich homosexuals. It's not even a sport, it's objectively a "beauty" pageant - you aren't rated for an objective athletic performance, but for the way you look.

The only good thing you can say about pro bodybuilders is that they have extreme discipline and are willing to sacrifice everything for their one interest, which makes them better than apathetic and lethargic fatties. But that can be said about IS terrorists as well, and they like to frick goats, so it's not exactly a high standard.

Natural bodybuilding has always been worth it. All the benefits of bodybuilding, without any of the negatives of gear. If you do cardio as well you're basically just extending your lifespan just by having a hobby

No they don't. They make their money through G4P stuff and being their trainer's/Olympia boss's butt buddy. That money is usually cleaned up and sent to them through bogus sponsorships.

Podium finishers make decent money when they finally start winning. The rest are pretty much just prostitutes who do gay4pay shoots and private muscle worship sessions with weirdos. The winners are also prostitutes the whole time leading up until they finally hit the jackpot.
They're a lot like actors in LA, really. Their dream is to make it big doing what they love and be rich and famous and respected for it, while their waking life is mostly about helping weirdos blow their loads while living in borderline poverty.
