You won't have good abs if you don't train them directly, just like you won't have good biceps from doing pull-ups. Curls are necessary for the biceps, so are situps or crunches or leg raises for the core.
yes. went from 59 kg to 71 kg, then cut down to 66 kg. exactly 15 pounds of lean mass. abs not visable because didn't train them. Now i am 78 kg and bulking to 80 kgs. We will see after i cut. I know the numbers aren't high but for someone who is only 173 cm it's pretty high i'd say.
