    Work is hell.
    >Trabalho(work) :From Old Galician-Portuguese traballar, from Vulgar Latin *tripāliāre (“torment”), derived from Late Latin tripālium (“torture instrument”). Compare Galician traballar, Spanish trabajar.

of course meds would think something like this

        Everyone thinks like that.
Work was never something appreciated until capitalism reached a stage where old feudal structures started crumbling apart.

It just happens that we(and meds) arrived later to the capitalist stage of development.

        Your language isn't much different
        >From Middle English labouren, from Old French laborer, from Latin laborare (“(intransitive) to labor, strive, exert oneself, suffer, be in distress, (transitive) to work out, elaborate”), from labor (“labor, toil, work, exertion”); perhaps remotely akin to robur (“strength”). Displaced native English swink (“toil, labor”).
        German:
        >From Middle High German arbeit, from Old High German arbeit, from Proto-West Germanic *arbaiþi, from Proto-Germanic *arbaidiz, ultimately from Proto-Indo-European *h3órbʰos (“orphan, servant, slave”), from which English orphan is also derived.

I'll never understand people that take pride in working hard. Sure if you're the owner I get it, but why bother if you're someone's employee?

hey, don't feel down. you have a good job that will secure you a hefty pension. you're a govt worker? it grants you special privileges, like lots of days off and an early retirement, right? even if you contract for them i think its still a pretty decent gig.
I would do it, but I'm a massive stoner burnout. I can't stop smoking weed for 2 weeks to clear it out of my system, because then I wouldn't be able to sleep at all or probably even eat. At this point in my life, I'm working at a trade and saving up money to eventually have my own business. I want to be a small time farmer who raises organic produce and animal products. I see the market for quality organic groceries. What we have right now is cheap crap! tastes of nothing. I could show you all real flavor.

the funny thing is they haven't even drug tested me
I don't know if they will

interesting. if they ever decided to drug test me, they would realize that my blood is potent enough to make a vampire bat see the face of God. i dunno, maybe they don't care about weed anymore, especially if it becomes federally legal soon. usually they just do a piss test at jobs, and they tell me "as long as you dont smoke weed at work its OK" and I say, "how would i do anything at all high, of course not." and we shake hands etc
