The older you get the faster you age. There's nothing new to experience so time passes quickly as days blend into eachother. So find a way to get out of your comfort zone, or something
>time passes quickly as days blend into eachother. So find a way to get out of your comfort zone
Solid advice.
Keep pushing to new heights, keep improving, and keep healthy.
Being mindful is extremely helpful.
>mindful
This is kind of a meaningless buzzword and can often make things worse.
It actually means a great deal.
It means to be actively aware and actively self aware.
>The older you get the faster you age
this isn't true at all. there's nothing in mid life or beyond that compares to how fast you age 9-13 or 13-17
Gee, anon, how old are you?
Most guys don't have a skincare routine.
You don't LITERALLY age faster, it's just that your perception of time changes. Time moves most slowly when you are young, because every experience is novel. Then, as you grow older, things become mundane. If you get into a routine and do the same thing every day, with nothing surprising happening, 10 years can pass in the blink of an eye. You should fill in as many new experiences as you can to negate the effects, but even still, you will gradually run out of new things to experience, and time will speed up for you. Even something like skydiving will become routine if you do it every weekend.
true. I went walking in the hills randomly in California after sitting inside for months, and the one day literally felt like a month.
>You don't LITERALLY age faster,
Yes you do , depending on lifestyle and genetics, and once you reach your peak age, the downhill slide has a compounding effect. You know that numerical age is just something we made up, right?
Nope.
I'm 45 and alive.
I often get mistaken for being in my 20s.
Doubt
Well, for a given quantity of "often". To me, I am counting most people thinking I'm much younger, several people saying that they thought I was in my twenties, and one girl in her early 20s pulling an ick face when she heard my age which could only have meant that she had previously thought I was attractive.
>>Your age is just a number
>Tell that to the police, sir.
I already said that dating teens is
ill-advised. And I don't enjoy the company of most of them anyway.
>I often get mistaken for being in my 20s.
As you can see, OP, military-grade copium works wonders.
>Your age is just a number
Tell that to the police, sir.
F 30. I honestly got a little freaked out at 25 but got used to it and I daresay I'm kind of enjoying it.
aging is inevitable, keep learning, spend time with your friends and family make life experiences in tune with your age and if you think you missed out on something FRICK IT DO IT NOW you are not supposed to live wih regrets if there is one good things about our day and age is that a lot fo things are readibly available so go for it you wont bring shame to you grave my friend so frick it and do it, do not stop to develop those are precious things, age slows you down for sure but your body and also the mind is like a muscle keep training both you'l be amazed what you can conquer at wahtever age this idea itself should compel you to give it your best shot
Your age is just a number. It doesn't become a problem unless you let it. People who go through midlife crises and make horrible life changing choices during their crisis are only victims of their own mind, nothing really happens. People who tie goals to ages and either wait arbitrarily or feel like they missed a mark are just making life hard on themselves for no reason. Obviously you do get older, but that's fine, unless you decide it's not.
>Your age is just a number.
Dating 16 year old when you're 20 and when you're 40 is very different.
Well this is what I meant with silly midlife crises. You can date at any age. But if you get hung up on numbers that's on you. Don't try to date 16 year olds. Date someone you get along with and have similar life goals to, who also wants to date you. You can find that person at any age.
aging doesn't matter unless you were already supermodel or a top world class athlete activly competing
for everyone else its just a number with no impact on life whatsoever
for men it's all about school setting and mutual friends, nothing else matters since no one can speak to anyone unless they're supermodel anyway
any change that age causes is just about being further away from school and can be solved by quitting work to come back to university
Aging literelly doesn't matter at all, you're just scared of being further away from school setting which is what really matters.
No it's not, in both cases it's just 2 people who like one another
>mindful
Reddit and indian beloved word, have a nice day
You wrote nothing of substance just instagram slogans, empty shell of a person just taking up space. KYS
>hating a word you never understood
Amusing
>You wrote nothing of substance just instagram slogans, empty shell of a person
Bold words from someone whose entire post history amounts to "Going to school is always the ONLY solution!"
I like it that you doesn't trip, it's a fun surprise to get half way through reading a post and realize you're getting SCHOOLED.
>Dating 16 year old when you're 20 and when you're 40 is very different.
It really isn't.
Seriously dating a 16 year old is often ill-advised because, whether you are 20 or 40, they will be a different person in a few years.
And casually dating a 16 year old is best left to other 16 year olds.
nah, 20's suck for men more often than not.
Aging is a part of life, you could get hit by a car tomorrow regardless.
Why should I fear something that I cannot avoid?
Yes I do that's why I'm on team Bryan Johnson :3
Perchance. I wouldn't say fear but I wish I looked younger. Perchance. I'm afraid of the possibilities of the unknown which is to say I am afraid of what death could entail, and death is often associated with aging though the two are not the same. Perchance. You see.
I cope by staying on a calorie restricted diet, wearing sunscreen every day, using retinol and moisturising my skin.
What scares me is that I look younger than a lot of dudes that are like 5 years younger than me.
What is in the water?
>Most guys don't have a skincare routine.
I don't either. I'm 28 and look ~22. I just tell people I'm 22 since I'm too humiliated to say I'm 28. Works out.
Turning 30 this year and I'm dreading it. I've been depressed for my last 3 birthdays about aging. I decided to talk to my 73 year old grandmother as I'm very close with her. She said out of all the birthdays she had 30 was the hardest because you can't really say you're young. Yeah you still are compared to how long you live, but no teenager will look at someone whos 30 and think they are young. In my mind it's the same. 30 to me is "old" even though it really isn't. She said after that one it was life as usual and she really loved her 40s the most. I guess it's all relative, but yes it's weird to not be necessarily young anymore.
I'm 45
I frick younger women so I can still feel young
so far it's working
im 36 and the kids seem to like me still so not really. i look like im in early 20s though.
