You may in theory have a chance with some women but your chances with more attractive women or women you desire in particular of a certain archetype will be lower unless you maximize your attractiveness in order to minimize your risk of failure. No point in wasting time until you are guaranteed success with what you want and putting in the necessary work to get there and defeat the competitors. There is no mercy out there, you have to get ahead the rest of the competition or maximize your potential at the very least to get anything worthwhile.
