Do you think at some point we'll cycle back and realise the food pyramid thing wasn't actually that bad?

Too many carbs promotes hair loss and myopia.
Whatever a israelite "expert" tells you to do, do the opposite, he hates you and wants you to fail. You only need enough carbs for your training session and some recovery. Non endurance workouts for beginners will not exceed 600 calories, about 4 slices of bread. Sugar and alcohols is straight out.

As far as fats, you need them and most can burn what they have stored, however fats in fish, almomds, avacado, red meat are good. Tuna and mackerel are good. Any deenz are good but Portugese deens are very primo. The oils used to pack these are not so great, so packed in water or sauce, the fat in the fish itself is the good stuff.

Are you implying modern people, especially Americans, could ever admit they were wrong regarding anything?
