What is so exciting about it, that it compels people to save these images and post them? I fricking hate how coomer zoomers ruined this board.
I dont track calories, but I keep track of them, if I can put it like that
I know how much I consumed by every night, more or less, as I usually eat the same 2-3 carbs and 3-4 meats, and if I'm eating out with some drinks I just round it up to 1000 for proper meals, 1250 for slop and/or increased drink portions
its working out really well
chances are, if you are like me, you are eating the same 10 foods on a rotating basis, and most of them are very basic stuff. like slow cooked meat, baked salmon, pan fried chicken, etc. if you are cooking proper 10 ingredient meals every day this might not be for you, but for me, its what the pack of protein says + 100 calories (oil, tomato sauce etc)
I know for example 300 grs of meat with some sort of sauce, a pack of rice (275 calories) and some greens will be something like 750 calories. doesnt matter if its 800 or 680, as I'd like to believe if all meals have the same deviation, it ends up even
a beer is 200, a bottle of wine is 600, eating out tapas style is 600, meals 800, etc
today for example I had a large omelette, a piece of bread, some nuts, and a shake. probably adding up to 900.
with this type of math I have successfully gained and lost weight multiple times while seeing good results from my routines
If you believe in the calorie hoax it makes it very difficult to succeed at weight loss. If you know that calories are a hoax you will be more likely to eat slimming foods and avoid fattening foods.
The obesity epidemic was caused by tricking common people into thinking calorie measurements matter.
Common people don't count calories. People who do count calories also look at the macros. The obesity epidemic is caused by food distributors noticing that nobody reads the government mandated list of ingredients and nutritional information and selling them garbage with a little bit of food mixed in.
Cronometer + kitchen scale log out my meals before I go grocery shopping. Only adjust when something deviates from the norm. If I'm a few grams over or under on something doesn't matter. It takes maybe 5-10 minutes and doubles as a shopping list. Fridays I usually do whatever.
Yes. MyNetDiary app, kitchen scales and a set of measuring cups and spoons. I cook virtually all meals myself. so measuring ingredients and portion sizes isn’t really an issue.
Excel. Takes maybe an hour to go in your kitchen, take pics of labels, and write it in a table. Then you make recipes with the ingredients. Whole operation takes maybe two hours for a lifetime of clarity, no apps, no mental maths.
I do math in my head I’m 35 I don’t need an app for everything
Why did you post a random thot pic? Why not post something on topic?
Notepad and calculator plus the internet browser app for when I don't know the foods macros.
goooooooooooooooooooooooood there are thots out there like that?how do I get them bros

Yes/no. The 3 eggs that I eat today have the same calories as they did yesterday and 5 years ago. They will have the same calories also tomorrow.
Same applies to the rice I will eat, potatoes, pasta, ground beef, chicken, half litre of milk, etc.

it works OK for me
So you maintain a rough estimate without jotting shit down?
How’s it working out for you, and do you just eat the same things on a regular basis?

I don't track calories because it is not only useless but actually harmful.
